Coupons when you shop?

Anyone here use coupons when you grocery shop? After hearing about some people saving a good amount of money, then seeing the video below...I def wanna get some coupons and save cash. Anyone know of any good sites to get them at?

OT: I use coupons sparingly.

 

I try to avoid using coupons, it makes me feel really poor.

 

My mom does this. You get a bunch of shit for free/a really low price. It's just like money. And we're not poor either, she just has more money to spend now/use on us. WE HAVE TONS OF FOOD IN OUR BASEMENT ITS FUCKING AWESOME!

 

Never it ruins how i look, i feel embarrassed using coupons. Spending that extra 1/2 dollars wont kill me.

 

I never usually take the time to actually cut them out, and by the time I was at the store I would probably already lost it. I might try using more of them in the future.

 

i like using coupons when i have them and if its applicable. i dont really go out of my way to get coupons though.

 

Coupons aren't really around in England, apart from McDonald's deals on the back of bus tickets, but I never had to use them because I hate taking buses, plus my mate stole an employee card for me so I got a better discount haha!

Damn I miss that discount card, although once they got suspicious because I have piercings and asked me questions about my store (managed to lie through it though).

It sounds interesting and +1 for people taking the time to do this but I honestly don't ever use coupons or ever really will. I just don't like getting them lol.

 

If I use them I get this feeling of embarrassment. I do not do my grocery shopping, my parents do when sometimes they use coupons, I feel embarrassed but they rarely use them. I am talking about the few occasions they do.

But yes, a lot is saved but through embarrassment to me :x

 

I hate how they call the Catalina coupons "cats."

Seriously though, these people need to stop in my opinion. Is it so hard to buy stuff like everyone else?

I manage a Walgreens in my town and the most annoying God damn thing is these coupon ladies. Sure, a few coupons is no big deal, but what these news programs don't show you is how people behave at the register.
90% of the people that use an astronomical amount of coupons are rude. If our store doesn't accept the coupon you're trying to use, then THERES NOTHING WE CAN DO ABOUT IT. Too often, customers hold up lines with coupons or start an argument with my employees over their coupons being expired or not registering..

They also don't show how obsessive these people are about they're coupons.

Just for fun one day, I decided to work the register when one of our typical coupon freaks came into the store. After her plethora of coupons, I gave her her receipt and started checking out the next customer as her coupons were printing out of the Catalina machine. I waited until I was done helping the next customer before I got her coupons for her. What made me shit bricks, was that while her coupons were printing out, she would nervously look at me and reach for her coupons until I looked back at her, then put her hands down by her side and try to act normal. Of course I gave her the coupons, but watching how she reacted when i was doing my little experiment was weird. She was having like an anxiety attack trying to get her coupons. Those are weird people.

Too often, people try to press coupons that don't work, then get mad when our paper didn't say anything about combining coupons and sales and MFG. coupons. If you don't like the way things work around here, fucking leave. We have over $63 billion in annual sales and we don't give a shit if your dumb ass just leaves without buying anything.

We also don't pay our employees to stand around waiting for you to get all of your coupons in order. Have it ready when you get to the register and know what you want to do/buy.



Using coupons isn't bad, but the attitude that comes with it is ridiculous,

 

I use them when I have them at places like McDonalds but I'm not going to go out of my way to find them.
