Successful account purchase? 1+ year on

Greeting Sythe users... Just wanting to see who actually has had a successful account purchase, what I mean is that you purchased an account over a year ago and till this date you are playing on it with no issues.

Always considered purchasing an account VIA Sythe however always wary, due to purchasing an account from PA and after 6 months of turning a initiate pure into a maxed zerker having it recovered by the guy. Lost not only the hard work but also a 500M+ bank.

Even with all the details I couldn't re-recover back due to the OO usuing the same IP in which the account was created to recover it therefore debunking the fact that I myself from the UK could of owned the account from the USA, even tried playing on "moved addresses" and so on.

 

OO will always be able to recover. No exceptions. Personally, if I was SET on buying an account, it'd be from a user has been around for many years, with account sales also dating to years in the past. They'd need to be hugely respected on Sythe, in all honestly there's about 5 people I can think of that I'd even take that risk with.

Your best bet is to make an account yourself. Pay for the training if you have to, it's really not as expensive as you think. You can create an account YOURSELF and have it trained up to zerker ready (barrows gloves), with just the combat stats left to train, for as low as $100. To me, this is a much better investment for your money. Never worry about it getting recovered. It's yours, forever.

 

i have succesfully bought an account pre-eoc from a chinese company which never got recovered, i have never bought an account on sythe tho. but i think since gold has quite a high value, buyers are at a higher risk of the account getting recovered. since most accounts need around 100m in gear to function

 

I don't remember a single account I've purchased on here that was never recovered at a later date, however my memory has been flaky these days.

On the flip side you can track down some of my account sales throughout the year and verify they still have their account

 

Original owner can always recover an account, no account purchase is safe.

I hardly ever hear of account purchases being safe, but I would recommend buying accounts off of a highly trusted website that
has been around for a very long time. This would higher your chances of the account just being mass-created with no information
about the account being saved by anyone.

There are alot of account recoveries out there.

 

If i was looking at owning an account to a preferred method and couldn't be bothered with training it or didnt have the time i would certainly look at making an account putting membership on it with your payment details, obviously dont keep them stored, then go and see a trainer to get the acquired stats probably cheaper than purchasing with fear of recoveries.

 

Just bought an account today from someone trusted. Hopefully it doesn't get recovered

 

But yeah, buy a trainer. Its not that expensive, there's much more customizabilitya andyoucan be certain the account cannot be recovered

There are good quality people here, you just have to find them.

 

Just make your own acc. Feels so much better knowing you made it and it’s safe. Rather than worrying about logging on the next day to a recovered acc and all the money you’ve lost.

Create your own account, then use paid services to level the skills you need if you want to spend money on it.

That might be more expensive, but nobody will recover it.

 

Honestly I want to purchase a pker but yeah I don't trust anyone because they can always recover it

 

Just a heads up, never buy accounts off PA, unless you see that they are like generic and mass created. I've had terrible experiences and even when you buy "insurance" they ask you for impossible proof to refund you.

 

Just don't buy personal accounts from random Sythe/pa users who do not normally sell accounts, if you want assurance then you should buy from vouched users or from trusted websites that train accounts for sale.

That said, there are honest users on this site, you just have to be extra careful who you deal with. I struggle with this because I do this as a hobby, I've sold 5 accounts but people are still super cautious when buying from me since I'm not a donor and I don't make regular trades. You can't blame them though.

Don't buy one pay for training instead

 

I sold a Max Cape account in March 2012 (here on Sythe) and the buyer has had no issues since (they haven't contacted me about any, anyway). I sold the account for cash - so I would have had no way to lose the money no matter what happened.

It's very hit and miss but to be safest, I'd go the services route on an account you create yourself.

 

Hard business recovery chance always there
