[Crap] Guide to getting quick low levels [Crap]

Hello Everyone!

This really isn't much of a guide. It's just common sense really. Well anyways, If you recently made a new character such as a def pure or a tanker those first 10 levels can suck. Well It's actually quite easy to get 11 levels in only a few mins in a f2p world. Interested? No? Well read on anyways. The First thing your going to want to do is head to lummy if your not already there. Go to the house that I've circled Below



Ok, Once there go down the trap door and talk to Sir Vant.



Ask if you can slay the dragon for him he will say no and give you 2 XP lamps. These should get you to about level 6 in your skill of choice. Now your going to want to go to the building I've circled in red by Edgeville In the picture below.





Once there you must enter from the jail entrance.





Once inside your next step is to talk to the Guard inside. He will tell you you can't go up until you read the plaques. Once you have them all read go upstairs. You will need to now talk to Professor Henry.




He will ask you to take a quiz and hand you a paper in your inv. Fill out the test with the correct answers and hand it back to him. He will give you 2 more Lamps and you can now use them on your skill of choice to get to level 11!! Yay!! Well, Thanks to everyone who took the time to read this.

~Note~ If you have made a char since the new tut island you will get the first 2 lamps at the end of the tutorial process.

Yea, What makes it great is you can basicly go right to the monks since your already in Edgeville.

This it'll get oyu around 12 in a stat if you use all the lamps on the same stat.

 

Oh pretty good guide as a quick way to get to level 12.

Sir Vant's lamps grant 250 experience each.

The lamps for the Stronghold of Player Safety quiz grant 500 experience each.

Using 500 experience in each of three new skills will raise them to within 12 points of Level 6.

High level players who haven't done either can use these lamps to get to level 12 in a pesky skill they haven't started yet (i.e. Herblore, Farming, etc.).

Here's one suggested route for a player fresh from Tutorial Island (who isn't going to be a Pure) to try:

1) Get the lamps from Sir Vant and raise Strength to Level 5.

2) Go chop down one tree to get some Logs, then go to the cow fields and pick up six or sevel pieces of meat. Use your tinderbox and the logs to cook the meat.

3) Walk to Varrock and bank everything you have except your newbie armour and the food.

4) Go to the Stronghold of Safety in Edgeville and finish the tests. Don't forget to also get the Safety Gloves. Nothing in there is aggressive, so you don't need to run.

5) Use the Lamps to get Attack and Defense up to Level 5 each.

6) Make sure your Auto-retaliation is OFF. Now go to the Stronghold of Security (Barbarian Village) and run through it to get 10,000 gold and the Boots (you might get hit a few times, which is why you stopped to get some meat and cook it).

7) Walk to the Edgeville Wilderness Ditch and buy a Team Cape of your favorite color.

8) Walk back to Varrock and buy Steel Armour, a Steel Scimitar, and an Amulet of Strength.

You now have (assuming you made it through the Stronghold of Security without dying) about 6,000 in gold, Steel armour and weapon, the best boots and Gloves you can wear at this point, a Strength Amulet, a cape, 5 Attack, Defense, and Strength----and you haven't fought a thing yet.

Members can go down to the Lumbridge Swamps and pick up a few pieces of Swamp Tar after getting the lamps from Sir Vant, sell that at the Grand Exchange and buy some Iron Armour before going into the Stronghold of Security. This will give them a bit more defense when running through it.
