I'm bit curious how this is going to turn out lol, wonder how many people will quit, so far all people on the runescape forums are agreeing to the update posting positive comments so they get noticed and hopefully become a mod lol a quote.

Great another update. Probably makes combat much more confusing.

 

It's really sucks, and with every childish update like this they will lose members. They will not attract new members with bs like that.

And new icons just gonna show how stupid morons rs players are, if they don't know what prayer to put on. And also, who the fuck cares if it's your hit or not, you check exp for that if you want lmfao.

Definitely a useful update. Might take a little getting used to, but will probably be worth it.

 

Yeah, Jagex doesn't even care about the game anymore, they're just after the money.

Most of the updates are extremely pointless, but this just may be effective, although whats wrong with having just the 0 showing it didn't hit you. Does it honestly need to tell you that 200 of the damage missed? That is completely pointless, I think they are running out of ideas and want to maintain there little update spree.

 

agree lol, if i was part of jagex i'd make up cool updates and think them myself no pick them out of different other games like wow, i'm pretty sure thats what their doing.

Well it's like, we know '0' as a sign that the enemy has missed the blow. Why do they need to make it show how much damage it would have caused if it hadn't been blocked.

I am still pissed off about them putting on a trade limit. I mean honestly, who cares if users are using it to purchase items in real life, they lost 1/4 of their paying customers after the update was released, not only that but pking was gone, dueling is obsolete now, and all other forms of 'FUN' They don't heed to any complaints, as long as we pay them to play, they will continue to ruin the they once had perfect.

I agree with you, if they let users suggest something they would like to see in the game such as an items, or a feature it would make the game ALOT better.

I like the idea. It makes perfect sense as I'd actually like to know what was being absorbed and what was actually hitting. My favorite part is that there will be fewer zeros (which, tbh, zeros never made much sense...)

 

The zero's made perfect sense, it always represents that the enemy did 0 damage to you. It was easier to follow along, everyone know's that it shows how much the monster absorbs, but what purpose does knowing what it or you absorbed serve?
