Need Help fixing an issue with Arcus Gold

Explanation of the trade: Talked to Cathy / Lili on live chat on arcusgold.com, trade went fine, was sent the money via Paypal.

How they scammed: My Paypal was hacked, the hacker refunded my 3,079 in hopes for Arcus to send him the money via WU or any other service for him to get cash. Once I secured my account again, I got back in touch with Arcus. Arcus luckily didn't give him the 3,079 dollars. The money is still in his Paypal. Once I contacted Arcus, he told me I will have to file a claim to get the money back. He wouldn't send me the payment again, even though he has the refund in his Paypal. I agreed and ended up calling paypal to get this claim filed. After a couple hours of being on the phone and on hold, I managed to file a claim with the limitations office. They told me to call back in 7-10 business days to check on whether or not it was rejected or accepted. Today, I called in to check on it and they told me that my claim was accepted. They told me to get in contact with the seller and have them send the payment. Awesome, right? No. Arcus refuses to re-send it. He will only let Paypal reverse the refund made from my account. After hours and hours of phone calls from Paypal and extensive research on Google, it is illegal for Paypal to reverse a refund. Paypal refused over and over and over again, even that my claim was accepted, to reverse the refund by the hacker. Their company is simply not allowed to do that. Arcus then tells me that he'll send me the 3,079 dollars 6 months from now, which simply is outrageous. I need help resolving my issue, I have all the evidence of myself being the owner, I need this issue fixed.

Whichever mod is taking care of this report, and you need an unedited version of the chatlogs (blocking my paypal email & Mule name) along with the in-game picture of the trade,matching the name in the chatlog, i will gladly PM you, or you may add my skype. I've been chatting with Dave on skype about this issue and informed me to make my report. I'm open to any questions by mods, so please pm me and i'll talk to you on PM or skype.

 

Arcus has 24 hours to resolve this.

So what's the deal with this?

 

That's obviously the person that hacked my paypal, he has zero evidence, the only evidence he has is a screenshot of my paypal transaction, which he would have since he had access to my paypal. He has terrible grammar, his IP obviously wouldn't match mine, and I have all the evidence to show i'm the owner. He also joined the day he posted that. Either way, it doesn't change the fact that there is 3079 dollars not in my paypal.

 

Either way, I've reached out to Arcus himself, as well as lili.

I've reached out to Lili via their livechat, Arcus will be online in about 6 hours and have a look at this report. I'll be in bed by then, so I'll handle this some time tomorrow if another mod doesn't handle it first.

That is why I brought this issue to sythe, it is impossible for paypal to reverse a refund, arcus has 0 risk of sending me the 3000 dollars again, just like paypal told me 100000 times, you can't simply dispute or make a claim for a refund. Again, like I posted above, it's illegal for paypal to reverse a refunded payment. He's been giving me false information.

 

I support refund after 180 days, maximum time period of time allowing you to open dispute against Arcus. You didnt even talk to him about the case, just refunded straigh away, there should be an agreement first. Also, you didnt menage these funds, these funds were menaged by third party accessing your account so it's your responsibility for time wasted on this case

Zuzel please read the full report before posting, the hacker was the one who refunded without asking, and you shouldn't support the 180 day refund when it isn't possible to dispute a refund. The other person that arcus mentioned isn't going to be refunded by paypal because paypal won't reverse a refund, again it's illegal, his claim was denied. Everything you just posted was either false or answered by simply reading my report carefully.

 

Please call paypal / do some go googling before you post information about a claim on a refund.

I'll post some links of paypal employees confirming this in about 2 hours, I have practice.
