    Just found out how....
    People make those sites that look exactly like runescape

    They make a duplicate website using this and change the things in bold to go to more webpages they made themselfs ill explain more at the bottom.

    The one in bold is 2 links on the left side of the page that go to create a character or play, they basically change those links to something else and when you click them it still looks the same as play or create but whatever is typed in is recorded.

    so check all links using the bottom left of your internet explorer or firefox etc. and if they arent the normal links your on a duplicate website.


    also you can use this and make a duplicate website and make all the links go to sites your affiliated with and get traffic earning you money ^.- i do this all the time to make affiliate money lol.

    anyway i hope this helps you not get hacked =]

    Just found out how....
    Make a new page called rslike.html and just insert that into it and save it view the page and it looks like rs...very easy to get that code too just right-click view source....

    Yeah.. Use notepad... But these things are phishing sites, even though *i wouldnt think* it is illegal because runescape objects are not tangable... so.. Yeah :\, Just an unethical thing to do :$
