[ANNOUNCEMENT] Burst.net no longer allowing bots! [GF Botting on VPS]

    ANNOUNCEMENT

Burst.net are no longer allowing any macro's/bots to be used on their VPS's this is complete bullshit because i just bought 4 new vps's 4 days ago...

Anyway, I made a tick on the support forums asking why, this was there response:

    Dear BurstNET Customer,

A RuneScape bot has been detected on your server.

Automation tools, macros, bots and auto-typers are a violation of the RuneScape Terms of Service, which makes this a violation of our Acceptable Use Policy.

Please immediately remove this application and notify us when the process has been completed. Your response is required within 24 hours of this notice.

Note: If you are _not_ running a RuneScape bot and feel this is a false positive, we need you to reply to let us know. Lack of response may lead to deactivation of your vserver, so it is in your best interest to reply to this notification as soon as possible.

    Sincerely,

I know there is other VPS providers, but Burst.net was easily the most popular by demand.

I just checked on some hosts. http://virpus.com is actually a great provider, i just bought 2 VPS's for $5/month which is cheaper and i currently am botting as we speak on them. So so far, no problems!

Argh... I asked for a refund in my ticket. This is their response:

    Hi Jimmy,

When you ordered your VPS's, you agreed to our Acceptable Use Policy, which states that you will not use the service ordered for any illegal activities.

Runescape has stated in their Terms of Service, that RS-Botting is illegal. This means that you are violating our AUP. Our TOS states that violating the AUP will result in suspension of the server. There is no refund due.

    Thank you.

Sucks to be me / all the others who lost their use of bots on burst.net VPS's and i even got mine suspended without refund.

yeah even rsbotvps didn't get any refunds at all from burst - even vps's that were ordered that day. stinks but we're trying our best to help our existing customers because even if it wasn't our fault, we feel it's an obligation to our customers.
