    Smudging + Transperancy Help?

    I have this gif here:

I need to have it transparent w/o the background, I figured there are probably 2 ways to do that, smudge it without the black background, the problem with that is, I want it to act like it's on sampling all layers, which doesn't work with only the text and no background.

Second way is to remove the black which I don't know how I could do it and still keep the transparencies.

Also the gif is slower than when I animated it in Photoshop.

He's talking about an animation, I don't think it's so simple.

Now, am i missing something here or cant you just make the black layer invisible and trim the transparency to cut space? Or do you no longer hae the .psd?

Just make the background color the color of whatever your putting the image on? Like if your making it for a sig/thread just get the color of the background.

No, it's not just a black background, the black was part of my smudge and the guy wanted to use it on multiple sites. Finally he just had me make it for Sythe so I could use the same color, but I was smudging using sample all layers.

Save as PNG, Than do separate layers. Than animate. Don't animate the layers if they are not PNG.
