Need help removing keylogger.

Got keylogged by a scammer, yea how stupid of me, need help getting it removed, any suggestions?

download that and run a full scan with your internet turned off, that should remove any and all malicious files on your PC

 

If you get to many viruses and stuff, just save everything important and reformat your computer. I use to do that whenever I was little all the time. Lol

 

i already ran mbam, found nothing. i want reformatting to be my last resort.

Malwarebytes usually works on itself.

 

Don't have much time so I'll just give a fly-by.

Delete everything in your appdata roaming folder.
Start>Run>%appdata%>Roaming

Go to task manager and look for any process that isn't normal, ending it and keeping in mind what name it is as well the location.

Go to your startup programs via msconfig and uncheck all that are not normal for your computer.
Start>Run>msconfig

Download MBAM and then disconnect from the internet, to follow up with a full system scan.

i tried to paste that appdata > roaming and i get an error saying it cant be found.

i've already ran mbam nothing found.

 

What keylogger is it? I got Ardamax keylogger remover thats it :/

When it comes to keyloggers the best thing to do is reformat it. You will probably notice a boost in performance after you do it also. So I think it will be well worth it if you haven't done it in a while.

 

You can't paste it.

Go to start, type in 'run.cmd', you know, the black box.

Type what he says in, then it'll work.

But, as always, the most surefire way is to simply reformat. Just save important documents and such before hand. Not only will that get rid of your keylogger, but also other non-malicious clutter that slows your computer down.

 

Reformat>All remover programs.
If Malwarebytes doesn't work, probably the thing to do.
Just save some precious files and go for it.

Download that, do a scan with logs. Post the logs, I'll tell you what to do next.
