    Explanation of the trade:
I was buying 100,000,000 Neopoints for 75$ USD on Paypal.

    How they scammed:
I sent the 75$ USD first to Paypal and he then provided me with the login information for the account and the email address associated to it. I was able to login to the account and clicked on the Bank to verify amount of Neopoints. I then clicked a new page to try and change the account information but what instantly logged out (this is typically caused by a changed password or an account being frozen).

I then tried to log back multiple times and was not successful. I was getting angry at this point and called him out on it. He then told me that I can change the password by using the email and I did a password change request and received an email link to do so. I tried to login and was met with the "You have tried too many attempts... Try back in 50 minutes" message (Skype screenshots).

After a few minutes of me freaking out and calling him a scammer, he casually mentioned that I must have self-iced the account. My heart immediately sank and sure enough the account was frozen. That's basically it.

I will admit that after speaking with Paypal, I was indeed informed to take certain steps in order for me to get a refund/cancelled transaction that would reflect in 3-5 business days. One of those requirements was opening up a police report with local authorities (in Richmond, Virginia, USA).

Also, the video proof that I mention is real but would not be disclosed on Sythe because clearly Michael would have access to view it. I was also informed to start documenting all further contact with Michael and have continued to do so but it's simply been my attempts of trying to make him admit it so I can stop all of this.

I also truly believe that Michael is aware of the circumstances but is refusing to understand the gravity of the situation and I have mentioned to him I would be contacting his parents in a civil manner to discuss this issue. I don't want to have to pursue this to this extent but I feel it is necessary at this point.

Nothing of any importance, but please let me know if further information is required.

Screenshot proof is not definitive one way or the other. OP denied me access to the video, hence this report is being closed on the grounds of not enough proof
