An Idea By Billyy & Hm0ng - Please Vote

Alright, well hear us out, and don't say 'No' unless you read the entire thread.

*PLEASE VOTE IN THE POLL AFTER YOU HAVE READ THE FOLLOWING:

Me and Hm0ng were thinking, why not have a Warez section at Sythe.org?

It would bring in a lot of activity, and would add another aspect to Sythe.Org besides just RuneScape Cheating, GFX, and Programming.

We feel this would bring a significant amount of members to the community. Right now, a lot of members are leaving Sythe, and if there was a Warez section, it could benefit other members, and even bring new members in.

The sections would/could include:

Code:

Music
 - Albums
 - Singles
Movies
 - Genres?
 - ???
Applications
 - ???
 - ???
Other

This could be determined at a later date.

Of course, members would ONLY be allowed to enter if they agreed to a Terms & Conditions (Possibly stating that Sythe.Org is not liable for anything downloaded in this section?).

We were thinking, you go to enter the section, you get brought to a page that states the Terms & Conditions, and you must type 'yes' and click OK.

Maybe they could even post their email address, and verifying themselves before they may enter the section.

We know Sythe would have to acquire some sort of hosting that would allow Warez to be posted, but we think it would be worth it to attract more members.

Well, hopefully you've weighed the pros and cons of having a Warez section, and we'd really appreciate feedback.

Also: We both have a strong feeling that this suggestion will be denied, but it was worth a shot considering the lessened activity in the forums.

Sites that are not based around their warez section often experience the warez section being their downfall.

 

A warez section would bring in so much more traffic. Although I haven't been here a long time, I believe a warez section is long overdue. As Biillyy has mentioned, there will be forums and sub forums for which each "warez" would be categorized. I believe it Sythe wants to keep its members and bring in new and other members, adding a warez section would be a good way to go.

Thing is, Sythe already has its base users which are here for Runescape cheating. Warez would just be another part like the GFX forum as Billyy mentioned. As I mentioned as well, it would bring in new users as well for other reasons and keep people like me who hardly, if ever, play RS.

 

This would probably negate away from the lack of scammer reports done..

Maybe sythe would be known for something besides scammers?

A disclaimer of some sort would be needed, after that it'd be a yes.

 

iSupport, I think this would be an excellent add-on to Sythe.

 

I doubt there would ever be such a thing, especially when warez can get you a perm-ban without any prior warnings...

 

I support, currently I go to fagex for sharez, and I hate that site. I would love to have it here.

 

I don't care. I really don't have a problem finding my Warez/Torrents, but I don't see why it would hurt Sythe. Maybe make it protected in some way though (like Fagex) so not everyone (l33ch1ngN33bz) has access.

I agree with this, would you mean the sale of Warez, where you sell product keys and the source code and everything else. Or a place to just post something which everyone can get for free. I personally prefer the Warez Blackmarket.

 

It'd most likely be free stuff before the black market. I wonder how you got a custom user title thing crap.

I voted no simply because anyone with half a brain can find things they need just fine. An I believe this would just cause more drama within the site, which is something we already have enough of.

 

That, and the forums would have to have severe viewing restrictions to stop any major legal cases.

yea it sounds really good i know ive been on other sites with warez and its kinda kool cause u got like warez and rs blackmarket and stuff in 1 site
