Tupac is very good at what he does. basically when he talks people stop to listen and has alot to relate to because he grew up with nothing and succeded and showed many people that you can do anything. he is an inspiration for many rappers today.

So did the other rappers who I put on the list Except maybe Rakim since I don't anything about him as far as his childhood but biggie and eazy grew up with nothing and sold drugs in my selection eazy-e because he founded his own record label off of money he made selling drugs and formed NWA one of the worlds greatest rap groups

If you are doing history then you should talk about how the present rap music is a lot different now then old times. Also add jay-z to that list, hes old school.

Yup, put some Jay-Z there for sure man.
And maybe a new kid perhaps?
Immortal Technique, he's got mad skill no doubt. I'm not that into rap, but man this guy has amazing talent. Check out his stuff; he's going to become the next big legend in my opinion.

I don't see why people are so simple minded to call him 2Pac. His real name was Tupac Shakur. My favorite would have to be Biggie Smalls, only because he influenced people on how he rose to become a rapper. Biggie rapped to keep food on the table for his baby daughter, and ended up becoming rich off of it. Like in his song, "juicy", he says, "Livin' life without fear, puttin' 5 karats in my baby girl's ears." He was my favorite only because on how he saved hip hop, along with Tupac who influenced it just about as much as Biggie himself.
