amps + subs. i need help!

and i was wondering if someone who know what they're doing could help me out. i need to get an amp and some subs for my car. I'm thinking 12" subs will b good. trying to spend the least amount i can. I don't really know what amp i need to get and which subs i need and if i need like wires / instilation kits or w/e so what i'm asking is if you could link me to everything on that site i need to buy for my car. thanks in advanced, and i might be able to give you something such as a RS char or i dont really know if u help!

Don't waste your money on off-brand systems.. Do it right or don't do it at all because if you don't do it right it will sound like absolute shit or they will blow up in about a month.

If you're looking for a decent system plan on spending $4-500.

 

I tried getting the cheapest/loudest/brand named subs/amp/speakers for my car and I ended up spending 750-800$. I got 2 15" Kenwood Subs, 4 6 1/2 inch Sony Xplod speakers, a 1000 watt boss amp and a Sony deck. Like shakaka said, dont waste money on off brand shit. I wasted 100$ on the Boss Amp because its a piece of shit and I didnt know it was.
EDIT- Also, try finding a friend or someone that can install cheaper. Best Buy suggests shit you dont need, and they charge more than what you could get it done decent for.
EDIT2- You would need to post what size subs you wanted and what size amp you were thinking of getting. Plus you would need an aftermarket deck for your dash to eliminate having to buy a converter. So you would need your cars model deck installation kit+ a (insert gauge # here) gauge amp installation kit.
