Plantar Fasciitis

In case you didn't know, plantar fasciitis is the inflammation of the plantar fascia, which is right below your heel (like the line thing across your foot).

I've had plantar fasciitis since late April and my doctor has just told me to rest and to soak my foot in warm water daily.

It started to work and it got better around late May. I started playing soccer again, and it's been bothering me again. Now, I feel like my plantar fasciitis is more of a pain than what it was before and has stopped me from playing soccer.

Any suggestions on what I should do?

 

As far as I know nobody here is a doctor, your first port of call should be a physiotherapist or a GP. That said, it sounds like it would benefit from more rest.

 

Go see a professional I think, I've never even heard of the Plantar Fasciitis haha :/

 

Thanks for the help. I saw my family doctor and he didn't even refer me to a foot doctor. All he said to do was to have 12 Ibuprofens a day and to rest it.

 

Yesterday I randomly got soooo much pain in that place and I was just running to lay down, hah. Then I couldn't move it without it hurting. I tried it 1 time before, but I don't know if that's anything like your problem, because my pain just went away after some time of not moving it.
