    I have AMD and its alright.
    I think intel have a better name but realistically they are quite similar.

    AMD or Intel
    Intel is good for everything realistic, AMD is amazing when you want to run physics simulations. Intel is just absolutely shit on when it comes to things like simulating creations of black holes, but only a handful of people do that on their computers. This spring we were doing a heavy load binary black hole simulation in our physics class and we fried the intel processor where the amd was fine.
