Desert Bandits Guide | 85 + Combat | No Guthans

Hello, Welcome to my guide on the desert bandits. This will require 85+ Combat and 70+ Attack | Strength | Defence ; This is to get good exp, while staying alive and not wasting time + Money.

- What are Bandits? -​

Well, before you fight them, I think you'd like to know about them.
Below are some stats and information you'd like to know about them.​

Okay, now that you know about the bandits, let's move on to armor and inventory layout.

- Armor & Inventory Layout -​

Below is a picture of my armor layout, although it can be customized to just about anything. You're main focus is to get the best STRENGTH and DEFENCE bonuses possible for your level.​

** NOTE **

- YOU CAN BRING A RING OF LIFE AS WELL JUST IN CASE -

- YOU CAN BRING A GOD ITEM SUCH AS UNHOLY/HOLY SYMBOL OR SOMETHING GUTHIX TO THE CAMP AND THEY WILL AUTOMATICALLY ATTACK YOU SO YOU CAN AFK TRAIN -

- PLEASE DONT GO FOR ALL OF THE BANDITS ; IF SOMEONE ELSE IS THERE HOP WORLDS SO IT DOESNT MAKE BANDITS A BAD PLACE TO TRAIN -​

Helm - Berserker > Neziot > Barrows
Amulet - Fury > Glory > Strength
Cape - Fire Cape > Obsidian Cape > Skillcape
Gloves - Barrows > Dragon > Rune > Addy > Combat Bracelet
Shield - Dragon Fire Shield > Obsidian Shield > Rune Defender
Platebody - Barrows > Torso > Rune Platebody > Rune Chainbody
Platelegs - Barrows > Dragon > Rune
Boots - Dragon > Rune > Climbing
Weapon - Whip > Dragon Scimitar > Barrows Weapon > Dragon Dagger(p++) ​

Below is a picture of my inventory layout.I will go into depth and explain the reason for my inventory.

Money - For buying my noted lobsters back.
Noted Lobs - Selling to general store then buying back for staying longer.
Un noted lobs - Obviously for healing
Dragon Scim - For training strength when i'm done getting attack/def​

Alternatively, you don't have to use lobster. If you have more money get monkfish or perhaps salmon/tuna if you have a lower budget.

You can also bring Attack/Str/Defence potions to increase your stats ; Make sure to bring them noted so you can buy back when you run out.

Okay, Next section is where to train and where other locations are that will help you.

- About the training Area -​

As I mentioned earlier, there is a general store to sell your noted food/pots to and buy back. This process will keep you there longer and furthermore help aid in your training experience.

- How to Get There -​

Well, now that you know everything there is to know about the bandits ; why not know how to get there? Here's a Map on how to get there.

First, tele to duel arena by using a Ring of Dueling or you can walk from lumbridge, or you can use a glory teleport. I've shown the paths how to get to the shanty pass.​

After you buy the pass, talk to the Traveling Rug Merchant, and make sure you have no weapon equiped when you talk to him, then choose the option that you want to go to "Bedabin Camp" Then you can walk down from there.

What about bringing a God item?

 

You don't need the god item, because when you attack 1 they all attack you, and so on. But if you want to bring a god item, bring holy symbol.

 

Also, I think you should add the following.

- How to get there. For people who don't know
- You could also use prayer potions if you have the money to waste.
- Don't try to compete for the bandits, just hop until you find a good world
- Bring a Zamorak, Saradomin, or Guthix item. Such as vambraces or a cape to give extra Prayer bonus. It will make them attack you, so you could afk.

Just a few things to add to make it better.

Well, I just tried to make a guide that's clearer to understand, and that is pretty straight forward. Alot of other guides have a lot of excess info, sorry that you don't like it.

No problem, if you can post your average exp per hour and your stats to help other players get an idea of how much exp they can earn.

Would get 10/10 if you fix up the item list going from best to worst.

I.E. Fury > Glory > Str
