I heard some of the armour names are ripped straight from WoW.
My sources aren't accurate however..

 

Sources? Lol. Play WoW. Then play RuneScape. It's pretty obvious everything Gaygex is doing is trying to copy WoW.

 

I thought the same thing, SMR. They also implemented the TAB button as a hotkey to respond to messages.

EDIT: They also increased the hits and hitpoints by 10x, trying to get higher hits. (Still not near WoW)

 

I agree and it sucks. I don't wanna play some wannabe wow game, i wanna play rs -_-

 

Yeah, when I saw the update on dungeoneering I was like "HAHAHA What A Fucking Fail!! Runescape Is Becoming WoW!!"

 

If you mature enough to make it to high school and take your Economics course you guys will learn that Jagex doesn't care what your opinions are about their recent updates. They're updating to compete with their competition which makes them money. There is a constant flow of new players into the game, so when all the old scapefags leave because they're sick of the new updates rolling around they won't care. They're going to still have a massive amount of players rolling in, and paying for membership. Cool, they stole ideas from another game. Idc, Scape is special in its own way still really. I've never enjoyed PvP on an RPG besides for Scape. It's just different than everything else for me. That's the only reason that I still play, and hang around the communities.

 

The "stealing" of ideas that Jagex is doing is akin to, say, when a dog sees a bunch of horses racing with each other, thinks that he's a horse too, and tries to compete.

I do think it's LOLIRL worthy.

 

who gives any shit about whether or not its related to wow? does your life suck so much that you have to stress over things like this?

 

I agree this is the GAYEST thing they have ever released. And the dungeons aren't even fun they are fucking repetitive and fucking gay. Wow dungeons are actually interesting and challenging and FUN!!!!!!!!

It was 'Becoming' Wow ever since the HP update, IMO.

 

So? It's a skill (More of a minigame), they obviously put work into it-- if you're gonna whine about the game then don't play it.

Tell me when YOU could do any better..

 

If I had 100 people working on it, as they do, I'm sure I could have made a better skill. Hell, people on the forums suggested better skills than this.

 

I'm willing to bet that within the next year they will add some sort of mount into the game. Even if it's involved with Summoning, where you could ride one of your familiars. It'll happen.

 

I wonder when they'll add a Sky, too.

OT, TBH I could careless about updates like this. So what if it's like wow...

 

I'm level 64 in the skill at the moment..its a pain but the level 80 rewards keep me going.

 

I hope blizzard sues jagex..
