Am I supposed to return it?

Hello guys, I'll give you a small background story about this situation.

Recently I sold my rs account to a Sythe user through Playerauctions, he showed me his PA account and it had plenty of rep so I went first, deal being the account for 5$ on PA and after I delivered the account he would pay me the 30M 07gp. After I delivered the account he failed to answer me on Skype for 3 days to pay me, therefore I recovered it assuming it was a scam attempt. To my surprise, the bank now has like ~4M worth of gold he put on it.

To this moment he still hasn't answered me on Skype. Am I supposed to return him the money he put on the account?

 

If you can support your claims with evidence, I don't see any problem with you keeping the 4M. If your story is correct, he completely wasted your time and attempted to scam you. He put that gold on YOUR account. Ownership of the account was never transferred to him since he never paid for it.

 

Seems like he was trying to scam you (if you're story is accurate). Don't see why you can't keep the gold since he attempted to scam you and you took precautionary measures to get account back.

Report him in the scammer section on Sythe.

 

I Believe you should do what the other people above are suggesting. If he doesn't contact you or anything than yea keep it what goes around comes around.

 

Give it some more time, if he does not respond in a week the gold is yours.
