Explanation of the trade: He makes plugins for me, good buy. I ask if he makes scripts he said yeah. I wanted him to make an armadyl killing script that teles out after it's out of food (first started Dec 12 2020). Long story short, each version of it didn't work and it's well documented in the DM's. I no longer want the script and request a full refund.

this one was because of someone on task killing the boss for me, so it had the job of killing minions


For transparency, there was a second account provided because I wanted to get the account trained up and he hadn't used it for quite some time and I also stated that it's cool to take his time on it I didn't need the script right away.

He's a good guy, I wouldn't call him a scammer.

Ok So the second part of the payment was paid on 12/12/2019




you were given a working version on 12/13/2019 - at the time I think Dreambot was having connection issues, either that or my net was having connection issues to the Dreambot servers so I was unable to test it myself


I am almost 100% you said in your pms after this point that it was working, but you had a small issue where if you stopped the script while in the armadyl room the client would crash.
I had figured this small bug wasnt a big deal as the script was designed to be babysat with you restocking it and watching the script, and there isnt much reason to stop the script in the arma room.

During this time I had tested and ensured that the script was functional.

unfortunately I dont have a record of the pms and it seems like you deleted them.

after last mentioning it on the 12/20/2019 it was almost a full month before you mentioned it again when an rs revision broke the script.
(during that time you ordered more plugins from me, which were delivered)



(pm on 1/14/2020 was referencing a plugin that I sold him inbetween those)

then over the course of 6 months you kept changing your discord name and asking me to fix it, with random characters in your name. This made it incredibly hard to find you on discord as I deal with normally 20-50 pings every morning when I wake up.


during the next few months you asked me to update some plugins with openosrs changes, which I did without issue.

Every single time I asked for logs you posted a gif showing the ingame and a gif of your logs, making it significantly harder to debug.


as you can see here, you constantly changing your name doesnt make it easy to debug stuff, this was the second account you pmed me as upuntil this point I wasnt aware of any major issues with the script

after this point all debugging on the script was done by him sending me a gif of the logs and me trying to guess the issue. This is dispite our original agreement including him to provide an account for me to test the script on.

As I told @GrandExchanges in discord PMS I am willing to return the script to a working state, Provided that he supplies an account for me to test it on.
however once its agreed upon that the script is working I Will not offer anymore free updates on rsclient revision updates / dreambot updates or for any other reason.

@GrandExchanges is aware that the scripts are sold as is and future updates are not covered for free. He has paid for plugin updates in the past. This script was working on 12/20/2019 until 1/15/2020

Ps: note to mods/admins If you decide this in his favour and decide that he deserves a refund I have no problem paying back the original payment.

-I had someone training an account yes, during this time I provided a second account in order for testing. Recently,I logged in on 4/20/2020 and the account was wiped clean. This was the time where I took the debugging into my own hands.

- I have stated that there was problems with the script. On december 15, noted in one of the above screen shots, the script didn't use quick prayer as I wanted the bot to do. Here is a screenshot noting that two days prior noting problems eating and praying.

In summary, the problems have been persistent and simply put, if the script can't eat or pray then it's not working as intended.

- In all honesty I wasn't given any TOS nor was told to agree upon any. I'm easy going and have been in the market enough to know that there are future breaks in plugins and scripts. In this case, the product wasn't fully delivered at any point in time so I believe this to be a moot point.

Edit: I would also like to point out that I am getting KC/ Keys so Zuku could do the testing, not me, yet I take it into my own hands in order to expedite.

Edit2: To address the name change. Yes I've changed it a few times but there's still prior discord logs to look at. Not only that, it's either f and a smiley face or "frost". The most recent change occurred on 4/4/2020.

- I didn't delete any chat logs. The consistent conversations about fixing should be enough proof. You stated it was working yet I've sent multiple .gifs of it clearly not when I was testing it.

- Assuming and statements are two different things. I stated the problems with the script. You were under the assumption that by not doing anything they're fixed.

From 4/20 (when I took debugging into my hands) I have created Gifs because I couldn't grab chat logs from the client crashes. There are 5 gifs of separate dates showing major flaws in the script which makes it unusable. For example it will prioritize minions and at the same time not eat or pray. I am forced to stop it (then DB client crashes.) The script is yet to be near completion and, given the time spent, should be. I will show the gifs to a mod if you want to see them.

I would also note that there were surfeit of occasions when the test account(s) would go unused for 14 days at a time (duration of bond). After getting it next to the boss door, I would log in to bond it up again only to find it in Lumbridge with saying it hasn't been logged in to for 14+ days.

LordZuku states that it is 99% working on 6/7/2020.


I've been more than patient on this thus the 6 month wait. I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he was working on and I suppose I shouldn't have assumed so.

EDIT: The test accounts have ZERO armadyl kc and I'll be more than happy to share them with the mod in charge of the dispute. Further proof that I didn't delete any chat logs and the script wasn't in functioning condition.

That was sent today, when I was offering to fix the script free of charge. I was explaining why I wouldnt be giving you a full refund for a script that was working before & is almost finished now, it just needs to be fixed

 

It was not my intention to make deface you nor did I view it as such. I simply posted only relevant information pertaining to the subject, being an unfinished script. You state it was 99% but you have yet to post any proof.

Once again, once a mod reviews the information listed they can ask for full discord logs to answer any of their questions if they so choose.

btw I also went back and looked you were having issues with the zoom resize in dreambot, this is likely because you were running an outdated dreambot version, or running the db jar and not the launcher

(for mods, the zoom resize has nothing to do with the script, its a built in feature of dreambot, kinda like random event solvers
I have 0 control over it and if its having issues with it its nothing to do with the script, but with his dreambot install)

- You needed a test account to work on the script. The test account is at 0 armadyl KC, further proving it didn't work.

- We're past this. The resizing issue was in April. I relaunched the client and it was fixed. Continuing, I showed you a GIF on the same date of the script not functioning properly. In this case not eating or praying as it clicked the door. You provided a fix, the fix allowed it to click the preset prayers, click the boss door, and proceeded to spam click the boss without eating (which would result in bot death). The second and Third fixes after this resulted in the same thing, bot not eating.

The closest this bot has been completed was on 4/22. In this version, the bot would do everything seemingly perfectly, but then when it came to eating food it would eat it once and then STOP eating and STOP attacking the boss.

12/20/2019: The bot version issued 12/13 was the latest during this time period. I didn't receive any functional version on 12/20/2019 and I would like for you to prove to me that it was working. On the date of 12/13 I listed the issues.

I implore you to explain to me how the untested script was working on 12/20. I tested shortly after specified on 12/15 and stated the prayer issue.

Understand that I get where you're coming from. You believe I'm trying to pull a fast one over you but this isn't the case and I do hope you're able to come down and see it through my view LordZuku as I've been more than patient on the matter.

- Their launcher is called "DBLauncher.jar". That's the only thing you're able to download on their site which is what I was using.

- I couldn't give you logs because closed and I've said this issue to you multiple times that the logs were irretrievable. I also asked if there was a logs folder and you don't answer to it. I have provided logs of the Debug several times in multiple GIF. There was an instance when I even copy pasted the Debug.

- Absolutely false. Each gif sent was of it not eating or doing something it's not supposed to which would result in the bot getting KO'ed. To prevent death I stop the script and showed you the GIF. Each gif included the Debug Log.

Time after time you bring up points which are irrelevant, in and my opinion you're trying to demean me.

I'll address everything at once:

Account:

-You were provided an account to test on from the start up until some time in January 22 (30 days after you thought the script was completed) when I needed to get the account trained up as you weren't using it. I then provided a second account shortly thereafter.
- Once again, 0 KC on each account. This update was implemented 12/5/2019 in which you can look up said account and view the KC of the boss. You simply didn't use the account provided although you state you needed a test account to prevent banning your main account.

Logs:

-I have gifs of the bot that are roughly 30 seconds or less which include the Debug console (log) and visible errors rendering the bot unusable. You had a test account, why not use it and see for yourself. I spent the time to provide access to the boss door so you could simply log in and click the door.

Functionality of the script:

- Not a single iteration was 100% or close. There were the same flaws for each "fix".

Once again, i'm more than happy to DM the GIFs if the mod deems it necessary. They hold my current total XP which I consider to be sensitive information.

The runelite log isn't the issue here. I get you're trying to make me look impudent by posting irrelevant items. Great you posted you a log of runelite. That's beside the point.

The gif shows the bot clearly not eating. At the end, I stop the bot once it got low enough for me to be koed easily and eat + teleport out myself.

The account was there, you chose not to use it and I had zero knowledge of this. I provided the account and you didn't once bring up that it didn't "work" from December - Jan 22.

Edit: Runelite error logs are more detailed than the Dreambot Debug console which is the only one I am able to grab logs from. I've asked you on multiple occasions where they exist in the directory (if any) to no avail. I have also looked into logs within the directory of the folder that contains DreamBot and they don't provide any.

 

Honestly if a staff member can hop in and adjudicate this its just going around in circles at this point
we had the same argument 10 times over in dms and at this point its just wasting my time


Final words
I think that I have been more then fair, he probably doesn't even deserve a free update on the script. However I offered to return the script to working one more time dispite the script being 6 months old with no guarantee on the script working for any extended period of time.
The fact that @GrandExchanges doesnt want the free update and instead wants a full refund, its pretty clear that he has no interest in the script anymore and after testing the bot, it probably generates less gp/hr then he was expecting. Honestly at this point I dont even think you deserve a free update on the script as its been over 6 months since the original purchase.

As much as you want to delete your pms it was clearly working between 12/20/2019 until 1/15/2020. It just doenst make sense that you would go ahead and order 2 more openosrs plugins if you still had a script that wasnt working.


I wont be replying to this report again until a mod chimes in, unless you go ahead and crop a screenshot to make me look bad like you did last time.

 

Once again you're accusing me of things that didn't happen. I didn't delete any discord messages pertaining to this subject and now you're telling me I've used the script from 12/12-1/15/202 and it' s generating less GP/hr and now i'm upset? Mods can refer to prior screenshots for the script's functionality.

You're trying to make me look unsavory and I ask you to no longer sully my name and proceed in a respectful manner as I have treated you with the same. I have proven my point each post and wish for the mods to review them and provide a result upon reviewing the evidence.

- This post addresses the issue, to expand, I didn't intend it as an attack on you. I posted relevant information pertaining to the state of the script and chose to only screenshot those lines because of it's significance to the entirety of the post. Offering to fix it for me is a kind gesture but the state of the script is the case in point. I'm being as concise as I can so the mods who read this won't have a novel.
