Well im pretty much nearing the end of leveling. Around 1/2 hours ago, i hit level 78. Pretty much 70-78, all ive been basically doing was some dungeons and mostly Alterac Valley. I Hate Questing with a dire passion.

With the new BG and x2 honor, not many people do dungeons, and it takes a while to get into one. Alterac Valley is good on holiday weekends because u can get up to 5 bars a game but not during those weekends its pretty much shit and u only get 2/3 bars. so the question is, should i stay doing AV and dungeons? i cannot stand questing, so i really dont know what it will come down to...

Btw, im a Shadow/Disc Priest, if that changes anything

AV is awsome because you can buy gems with honor and either sell them or save them for your gear.

I think you should expand your response and actually answer his question of "What should I do to hit 80". ;)

On topic - I suggest doing BGs and dungeons 'till maybe 75. Then finish the rest off with quests because before you know it, you'll ding 80. It's not long and it's worth it if you ask me.

For 78-80, there are loads of dungeon quests for dungeons like Utgarde Pinnacle, The Culling of Stratholme, The Oculus, etc. I recommend doing the dungeons and completing the dungeon quests whilst there. Go disc. for quick queues. Good luck on hitting 80!

What Finn said. It took me like... 3 days (not full play time) to go from 75 to 80 by doing dungeons, and questing while waiting to get a group.

Battlegrounds... whut? I don't think pvp is good for leveling? I don't understand that whole thing. I only BG for mounts :p.

its good when you are on holiday weekends and doing it for the armor.

I have 3/5 furious priest gear, getting the helm and then getting the WG shoulders

Well, since your 78 you should try doing some TOCs, might get an epic or two.

Toc on regular is a level 80 dungeon?

Personally as a priest myself, I suggest you alternate between the two, as a healer it would do you great to practice your healing abilities in dungeons because you won't want to enter your first heroic pug not knowing what to do! Then again if you get bored/sick of fail pugs just hop into an AV or two. Good Luck!

^ If you have any questions on how to heal disc/holy spec just pm me :)
