Two months later...

Hello everyone, I have been waiting for the past couple of months for my IP ban to be lifted on these forums .

As soon as I realised that my IP had been banned I followed it up (and later learned that it was a mistake).

In order to get my IP banned without causing too much trouble I have done the following...

- Contact the sythe adminstrators via the IP ban 'contact an admin' link (no response)
- Contact the sythe adminstrators again two weeks later using the same method providing details of my IP
- Post a thread in the dispute forum giving details of my ban
- Thread was removed with no response, a friend of mine posted a follow up dispute.
- I was made aware of a new sticky regarding the IP bans, got in touch with the email adress provided and gave the sythe mod my IP who told me it would be taken off the list shortly
- I have talked to many people who I have added from sythe over MSN over the past few weeks to ask them whether they can follow it up.
- I have provided sythe admins with my email address on countless occasions so they could explain to me how the IP-unblocking is going.
- My IP is still banned.

Two months down the line and my IP is still banned from the forum; I am having to use a proxy server to access the forum, which I really don't like having to do. I am a very patient person, and am willing to wait for as long as it takes, but any information on how long it will take for my IP to be removed from the banned list would be appreciated.

I have nothing against the sythe moderators, however I do wish there was an easier way of getting in touch with you when this sort of situation occurs.

If a sythe moderator reads this, please could you post and I will send you a message with my IP that I wish to have unbanned within it.

I still can't access the site from my hope IP address. Was it the IP that I sent you via message that you unblocked? If it was then I have no idea what's going on.

Sorry to be a pain but I sorta have over a billion gp to sell hehe

I never unblocked it... I asked for it to be unblocked... These things take time.

 

Ahh I see. Then I apologise, I got in touch with somebody over MSN and I believe they already put it into the pipeline; this was a couple of weeks ago now and the reason I made this thread was to ask whether it was possible for a more direct response.

I'll just sit tight and hope for the best; could you give an estimate on how long it might take? (Bearing in mind I have been waiting months already).
