My First photoediting ever

wel,, Finn did a contest where you have to edit a picture, so i gave a try and here is my result:

not bad but the changes looked very edited which makes it seem like its a fake picture. other than that, good job.

 

No offense, but it's horrible. You've just smudged it to death. Facial edits are supposed to make your face look better than it does initially. It seems unreasonable to suggest that you've done so. I look like a hobgoblin. It's certainly different, but not an improvement of the original...

It was a good first attempt, but still, obvious

 

Shadows and Highlights seem to be all over the place, and quite unrealistically placed. Also Finn, on a side-note, is the competition to make the picture look BETTER??? I really thought it was just using the image and changing it in any way you like.... :/
