Favourite MUSIC!

well i've made this thread to find out what kind of music other people like to listen to, whether it's death metal - country. i want to know
here's a list of some types:

- Rock
- Metal
- Pop
- Hip-hop
- Country
- Soul
- Rap

there's the main type's i guess.
please feel free to say the band/song of the type of music you like.

myself, i like death metal/ screamo
the band's i listen to the most would probably be cradle of filth, children of bodom, parkway drive and job for a cowboy ( not country )

mainly melo-death\sludge metal and industrial. bands I listen to mainly are
children of bodom , arch enemy, mushroomhead, acid bath, powerman5000, the union underground and can keep going on but I won't bore you with about 1000 more bands

 

I like a lot of metal. Prog rock is a fave of mine, namely Dream Theater (saw them in Sydney, Australia) and Opeth are great too (seeing them in September Brisbane, Australia). I like Kamelot, Within Temptation (female singer, but very talented).

I like some of the screamo metal, but not emo-ish. As I Lay Dying are good. Parkway Drive are ok.. I will make an exception for Scary Kids Scaring Kids.

Some of the 'Classic Rock' like Deep Purple and Black Sabbath are good to listen to - most of the modern stuff has derived from those legends, so i like them too.

I cant stand hip-hop or rap. Techno is too fake and lacking-of-skill, but i can appreciate country, classical and jazz (porbably the Progressive Rock part of me talking).

So yeah. that's me.



Oh yeah, another type of music i dont like is the rubbish on RuneScape - i suggest playing WITHOUT sound effects =)

 

lol, point. to freddy, runescape music does SUCK
but oh well, there english.

 

Ska! I don't know how many of these threads we have had, or how many times I've said ska. But I love ska.

Favorite bands are Streetlight Manifesto, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Reel ********, Save Ferris, The Aquabats, The Planet Smashers, MU330, The Slackers, The Toasters, and The Specials.

Favorite song of all time is Surfin' in Tofino by The Planet Smashers, and my favorite band, Streetlight Manifesto, song by them is Failing, Flailing.

it's all about my mood. I like almost every genre, not classic or reggae tho

 

yeah you have a point, im a metal head and if im in the mood ill listening to hip-hop lol. or pop, so yeah.

 

Im the same, its all about the mood.

Well hip-hop can comes to singing and rapping..However i like rnb better.
