Solve it just like you would solve an equation (but if you multiple/divide by a negative number, you must flip the sign of the inequality)?

-18 < 2(12-3b)
-18 < 24 - 12b
0 < 42 - 12b
12b < 42
b < 3.5

5p - 3(p - 6) ≤ 0
5p - 3p + 18 ≤ 0
2p + 18 ≤ 0
2p ≤ -18
p ≤ -9

Chill. A simple typo. The important thing is Jimmy showed him how to do that type of problem.

This is correct, so the final answer should be b < 7.
