    Alright... I'm just curious.

Has anyone here visited the Fiji Islands before? Wonderful tourist destination... The only person I know that has is Alteranz :)

Also, has anyone tried Fiji Water?

I'd love to go, but still haven't yet. Though, I know a guy who moved there, and I have a handful of Fijian and Findian friends..

Could someone please explain what is so good about those Fiji waters or whatever those drinks are? People always tell me they're amazing, but why...

The Fiji water is pretty much normal water (from Fiji) put in a nice little bottle and marked up about 60% higher than normal water prices. It doesn't taste better, smoother, etc. It's more of a status thing, I guess...

As for visiting Fiji, I have not so I can't help. :|

There are Fijians (Natives of Fiji) and Fijian-Indians (Indo-Fijians, whatever, people descended from India). The Fijian kooh in 2006 was caused because of problematic race relations regarding these two ethnic groups?

No, the party which overthrew the democratic government were both of same race(Fijian).

You mentioned Findian in your first post...

Whats all the fuss about the Fijians wanting to control their own market then?
I read somewhere that there has been an Indo-Fijian exodus, over 40,000 have fleed the country...

And yes, I said Findian in the first post, then again because you tried to correct me...?

I think that was when Fiji was a colony. I'm not a Fijian so I'm not really sure.

    Which island?

Those are probably the schools in the rural areas. Fiji is not a modern society either so I wouldn't be surprised.

I've never been there, but I knew someone who was from Fiji. He hands down the best person I ever met.

Fiji water is probably the purest water. It taste like diet water.

My parents holiday'd there Mid-Last year. They said it was so great that they'd take me and my siblings up with them in a few more years. It does sound good though.
