osrs account purchases

Sorry if this isnt the correct sub for this. I recently received a bot busting ban on a range pure I was working on, so now I'm leaning towards purchasing a mid level pk ready pure. I'm just curious as to the ban rates of purchased accounts for RWT. Will Jagex be looking at my IP more closely after receiving a botting perm, and if I were to log into a newly purchased account would that account have a high chance of being disabled? Any info would be appreciated, thanks!

 

Hey man I don't know if this is in right section but for a reply. If I were you, depending on how many accounts have been banned on your home IP id recommend using a VPN on new account you purchase just to be safe.. And for purchased accounts being banned for RWT is very rare because its so hard for them to prove... Id also recommend if your going to buy account buy from someone very reputable as any account can be recovered even without a registered email.. @Universe is my one stop shop for pures when I buy accounts because hes trusted and Ive never had a issue and ive bought 250$ account from him.. And last but not least if you use VPN make sure you turn it off when you come to sythe so you don't get into trouble for that.. I sold a account last year to someone in Canada and it got locked, but the same account i was logging into my self while i was travelling around America in many different states and it never got locked, so maybe buy a account from someone who live's near you?

Also make sure they are original owner and can unlock the account

 

Good to know, thanks man. I doubt I'll find someone near me that I trust enough to purchase an account from but I'll definitely look for someone who is the original owner and willing to unlock the account if any issue arises.

 

No problem man, but if you wanted to go the suggested route he mentioned you could just ask them where there located and then make your ip look like its from that location or at least close.. Just my two cents. Good luck buddy
PS: Make sure to not come here without your home IP. Ive made the mistake and it was a pain getting it resolved..

 

When it comes to actually wanting to play the game, I find it is a better option to play the game normally (or bot) and play on your
own account. Also, if you received a chain ban (possible IP ban) it is recommended that you either
A) Change your IP through your command prompt
2) If unable to - Change IP through your internet service provider

I wouldn't use a VPN to over come an IP ban (or possible IP ban) because if that were the case, you would have to be very paranoid
and always make sure the VPN is on because one time off of it and you're done.

Be smart, get your IP changed and play your own account.

 

@BUILD That is a very strong point... For me Ive had a few account banned on my home IP address, but I usually turn on vpn if I get on my account. And like you said sometimes Ive forgot but it also hasn't gotten me banned.. 'FINGERS CROSSED"

 

One thing Ive learned over the years is if you want to play the game and not break the rules too hard risking a ban on that specific account, just make one, secure the shit out of it and play on it yourself.

Buying account for enjoyment - not so much making cash always ended bad for me from personal experience. Nothing sucks more than legitimately playing on a bought account, putting lots of time on it and it getting locked.
