Stream Punk sold me a faulty RS twitch prime code.

Series of events:

• Bought a RS twitch prime code from Stream Punk Thursday night.
  
• Tried using the code today (Saturday morning).
• Code appears to be invalid.

Key Notes:

• I have purchased working codes from Stream Punk in the past.
• He has since closed down his shop.

My Request:

• Moderator way in on what the right course of action is. Should he have mentioned the time sensitivity of the codes or is it my fault for not asking/waiting?
  
• Refund my 1.5m 07 GP or provide a working code.

Issue at Hand:
Stream Punk claims I should have used the code immediately after purchase (after the fact).
His thread mentions the codes are "legally obtained" and "All codes expires on May 8th".
The issue arose because I waited 2 days to use the code.

Series of events:
I have dealt with and sold codes to @DannyJr in the past, all codes have worked.
I sold One, 30 day RS membership code to @DannyJr , THREE Days ago (Thursday Night)
I personally check every code to see if they work BEFORE sending it to my customers. Then I tell them to please check/redeem the code and let me know when they have redeemed.
This time however, @DannyJr DID NOT tell me that he redeemed the code.


Before going any further. Let me get something out there. This is over 1.5m 07 gp. I would honestly refund and have done so in the past to anyone who I thought deserved it (EVERYONE except this guy).

I am disputing this report so that this does not happen in the future and no one else thinks that they can try to take advantage of me or scam me.

Being as I had 10+ customers at the time, I assumed that he had redeemed due to the fact that he said "Thanks" After I sent him the code and then did not message me after that, just like he has in the past.

This time however, He decided to receive the code, and NOT redeem for 3+ days. Only Now does he message me saying "It doesn't work".

I have sold over 600+ codes to sythe members. I have 105+ vouches, I have been trusted with TONS of GP from sythe members such as @SKGabi @Hypno and others. I would not scam anyone over 1.5m 07 gp. You can contact ANY of my customers and they will tell you that if a code doesn't work immediately after I sell to them, I personally eat the Entire cost of the order and provide a new one.

The fact of the matter here is, I sold him a code. And he did not only -apparently- not redeem the code, but wait 3 days to tell me that all of a sudden it doesn't work.

If I were to give out the code information, and then have every single customer come back to me saying it doesn't work 3+ days later. Then what is stopping them from just buying a code, redeeming it on their account, waiting a few days, then asking me for a full refund or another code and scamming me.

1.5m is nothing to me. But I feel that this guy is a scammer. He's been contacting me trying to get me to lower my prices (I state in my thread I will block anyone who does this) and has been extremely rude and telling me "fuck you".

So in this case, NO, I am not going to refund your 1.5m so that you can scam me out of a free code or free money.

Yes, This is true. ALL codes are legally obtained. I purchase and resell codes, and I also obtain them from my friends. Legally obtained meaning = I do not use hacked accounts, fake credit cards, or anything of the sort.

Yes, This is also true. All codes expire on May 8th. That is when the promotion for the giveaway ends. And All codes become invalid at that time, NO MATTER WHAT.

I do not state "all codes will be valid until May 8th and I will hold myself liable" - Because that would be IMPOSSIBLE If I give the code information to a customer, How can I possibly be liable for the code if they decide to redeem and magically claim it doesn't work 3+ days later. I say "all codes expire May 8th".

If I were to offer 100% refund for all codes until May 8th. I would be Scam Bait for guys like @DannyJr

Everyone seems to be trying to take advantage of the fact that I'm new to sythe or offering services.

I already sent proof of my method of obtainment to @Wortel @Azie AND @video
(Something I don't think any other person selling codes was asked to do btw, just me) And they have all approved / let me carry on with sales.

Over 600+ codes sold and I have had no problems until this guy decides to pull a fast one on me.

I have no doubt that the code worked when it was first provided. Although nowhere did he mention it had to be used right away. Hence the code stopped being valid because they were not obtained legally.

 

Dangers Of Membership Reselling!

This goes BOTH ways for the buyer and seller. I thought it would be common sense that when you are purchasing a code, you and the seller now both know that information, and you need to redeem it right away to ensure the safety of the purchase.

Again, I can't claim liability after giving anyone codes, because then EVERYONE would be able to redeem, then say "whoops, looks like it don't work anymore, give me refund".

I state directly after sending the code information
"Please tell me when you have redeemed" as I need to cross it off of my list or in some cases (not in this case) payout the people who give me their codes to resell for them.

It doesn't really matter if it's 3 days or 2 days. What matters is, I gave you the code information, and you waited a long period of time before telling me that It doesn't work (when it DID work at the time of selling).

Who is to say you did not just redeem, and forget that you redeemed, or are trying to scam me out of 1.5m/another code.

Fair point, which is why I presented both points in the original post. I posted an unbiased report of the nature of our dealings with the hope that the moderators way in.

 

We have no proof who redeemed it so there's nothing we can do here. In the future, if you are buying a code that needs to be redeemed please do so immediately and message your seller right away if it doesn't work
