Is renting your account for RSGP illegal?

Hey so i've lately started my max account renting service for staking and i was wondering if it was considered illegal by Jagex? Last i check i think that lending your account to some1 is not illegal but at your own risk and since i'm getting paid in RSGP, it isnt technically RWT? Any input on this would be appreciated

 

Yes, account sharing is against their rules.

 

oh i see ... so i'd better take all the wealth out of the account before sharing it ... i was thinking of leaving the 16m-ish nmz points ill have left when its max to buy herb boxes everyday but if there a chance the account will get banned i dont want it to get banned with 16m nmz points on it haha

Pretty sure they removed the "Account sharing" rule, it's more of a do at your own risk thing. Many streamers do it while being live and j mods don't really hesitate to care.

 

Yes I think so too. you can even multi- login as long as you don't interact (trade goods) with each other

 

I am also pretty sure they have removed acc sharing rule. I have friends now who make videos, and publicly share that they acc share. They have been fine.

Yeah they don't care as much but they would probably really frown upon renting for money. I've seen people on twitch have other people play on their accounts for a little bit. Sparc mac had his gf quest for him lol, but thats minor

 

Account sharing isn't really enforced in runescape, but renting out your account can get you banned.

Main thing you should look out for is people attempting to use your account for things they shouldn't be doing, like what happened to Bogla. People had been found to have been scamming using their account.
