July 13th Updates


Client 3, Update 7 (Download)

• New Krystalite armour and weapon
• New NPC Kristoph (Slayer master)
• Invisibility issues with achievement capes fixed
• Remove offer button added to market interface
• New dragon den chest object

Master in Peril Quest

• Requires 90 Slayer and access to the ancient cavern and the ability to beat an extremely high level boss
• Talk to Kuradal in edgeville to start the quest
• Upon completion you receive the ability to
  • Wear the new Krystalite armour
  • Access Kristoph the new slayer master
  • Access Nomad, the new boss
  • Ability to receive new boss tasks and boss points

Miscellaneous Updates

• All noted versions of the items obtained through thieving have been added to sigmud’s shop.
• The silver necklace obtained through thieving does not have a noted form thus making it very difficult to large amounts of the item at once. Because of this, the item has been replaced with the silver sickle which sells for the exact same price.
• Woodcutting experience per log has been cut in half, however the speed at which you obtain logs is increased by approximately 50%.
• Players can now search an item id instead of the item name for convenience reasons when in the market.
• Players can now remove their own offers from the market system. Staff can remove any and all offers at will.
• Fremenik sea boots 1, 2, 3, and 4 have been added to the vote store.
• The dragon den chest object has been visually updated.
• You can now access the dwarf cannon shop without completing the quest, however you must complete the quest to buy any items from the shop.
• The quest ‘Master in Peril’ has been added to the game. Talk to kuradal in edgeville to find out more.
• You can now access the advanced slayer shop without completing the Master in Peril quest. You must complete the quest to buy any items from the shop.
• A new set of armour has been added to the game, along with a new weapon. This armour is known as ’Krystalite’ and can only be equipped to your character after finishing the Master in Peril quest. This armour can only be obtained through the use of boss slayer points, and as a drop from Nomad.
• Half food pouches now give better fish, and give 5 cooked food unnoted instead of 2.
• Achievement capes have been added to the achievement shop for 1 point each but require the completion of the respective tier to obtain the cape. Capes are roughly 200,000GP after first purchase.
• The entrance to the wilderness resource area has been updated.
• Krystalite armour has one effect, which is achieved when wearing the weapon, and at least 3 of the other 5 pieces of the armour. This effect is a major increase of 20% in damage done to npcs. This effect stacks with the slayer helmet, and the amulet of slaying giving players a MAJOR increase in stats on task. This effect can be used on npcs on task, as well as Nomad even when he is not your task.
• Nomad is now a boss npc that can be access after finishing the Master in Peril quest. This npc drops Krystalite armour. What is unique about this boss is that you can choose to fight it solo on what we call a 'private instance', or locally on a 'public instance'.
• To compensate for the decrease in experience gained from woodcutting, the inferno adze now gives 50% less experience in fire making and has a 33% chance of burning instead of 50%.
• All players can now yell, it is no longer restricted to just supporters. All players except for staff, infamous supporters, and royal supporters must pay for yell tickets to be able to yell. Each yell depletes one ticket. Talk to Ol’ Yeller in the edgeville general store to buy tickets.
• The command ::topic has been added. This command will allow you you open specific topics on the forums based on the ID you pass the command.
• Nomad no longer drops item during the quest
• NPC’s in the ancient slayer cavern now drop items whilst your doing the ‘Master in Peril’ quest.
• Players now receive 200 boss slayer points for finishing the Master in Peril quest.
• Players can no longer use the dwarf multi cannon at nomad.
• Nomads range attacks now hit a max of 45 and hit everyone in the room.
• 1 new tier 3 achievement has been added, finish 10 boss tasks.
• 1 new tier 2 achievement has been added, finish 3 boss tasks.

Development Log September 7th - 9th​

• Player Online List
  • This interface has been modified to support crowns, and tagged colors (i.e; <col=#>).
  • Interface is faster as it now updates 100 lines instead of 400.
• Titles
  • Players can now select from a range of titles to replace their current guild title. Titles range from skilling titles, player killing titles, to supporter and veteran titles.
• Options Interface Update
  • The options interface supports a bunch of new toggles such as choosing their own icons, and titles. Unfortunately staff are unable to change their icons for obvious reasons, but are allowed to switch titles.
  • Toggleable options may include;
    • Did you know?
    • Market announcements
    • Animation upgrades
    • High detail client
    • Profile display
    • Many more
• Player of the Month Icon
  • This icon has been added to the game, as well as some titles.
• Pets
  • Players can now obtain boss pets. These pets are obtained by slaying their counterpart boss. Each boss has their own unique drop rate, some higher than others, some lower than others.
  • Players can purchase boss pets from the online store here.
  • You cannot drop a pet unless you have either donated for it, or received it as a drop.
  • If a pet is lost through a glitch or by mistake, you can buy it back from shop #24 for 575,000 gold coins.
  • A player cannot have two pets spawned at once.
• Client profile location changes
  • Profiles are no longer saved directly in the cache meaning after a cache download you will continue to have your previous profiles. They will not be deleted.
• Bank Searching
  • Bank searching is now implemented. If you find any glitches with this that may put the games economy in jeopardy report them to me via PM and you will be rewarded ingame graciously.

I would like to point out that this client includes updates to pets, and other various requirements for this update. This will not require a cache up, so long as you downloaded client 4.0 and the cache properly downloaded, and extracted.

• Shop 74 has had proselyte removed to ensure iron mans cannot buy this armour. The armour resides in shop 10 for normal players.
• The staff of earth has been added to the iron man shop.
• Guam seeds have been added to the drop table of chaos druids so iron men can start farming.
• Snakeskin wear now requires 30 defence and range to equip.
• The chance of receiving Tz-tok Jad pet is now a 1:20 (5%) chance appose to
• The Giant Mole has been added to the game. This mole can be accessed by using the mini game teleport, or by using a spade on the mole entry holes in the falador garden. The giant mole teleports from combat every 30 seconds. This however can be combated by attacking the mole with barrage. The barrage has a delay of 4 cycles, and only reduces the teleport time by 3 cycles making teleporting still inevitable, just prolonged. However, bringing a friend with barrage ensures that the mole will never teleport from combat, ultimately reducing the time to get the kill. The mole drops both the mole claw, and mole skin, and big bones every time it dies. Players can alch the claw for 25,500GP, and the skin for 33,112GP making each drop worth 50k. The giant mole can drop a ‘mole nose’ that when high-alched provides the player with 525,000GP. This nose serves no purpose other than being a high-valued item.
• Bork now drops a pet bork with a chance of 1:250
• Giant mole now drops a pet mole with a chance of 1:400
• Nomad now drops a pet nomad with a chance of 1:180
• Baby blue dragons now drop the pet baby blue dragon with a chance of 1:2000. This pet is the only other pet at this time that can also be obtained through voting for a total of 45 vote points. This is also the only pet that at this time, you cannot donate for.
• All pet examines have been updated.
• Boss tasks have been updated, the following have been added to the list of possible tasks:
  • Dagannoth Prime
  • Dagannoth Supreme
  • Dagannoth Rex
  • Giant Mole
  • Avatar of Destruction

In other news, due to the recent increase in donations I now have the funds to spend on better advertisement. Because of the donations received, and to promote ourselves the best we can, a voting event will start september the 10th, and last until september 30th. During this time players will receive an additional 3 voting points, an additional 3 spins for a total of 5 spins for every vote they claim.
