    Explanation of the trade: Bought a maxed ironman account for $1800 LTC. Blocked me after payment but he did give me the account first so didn't scam me. Just a bit weird that he blocked me. I then checked on the forum and seems he was scamquiting. I contacted the original owner @Dunworry and was told to make a report so it can be documented.

    I have read Dunworry's post here about recovering the account. Since the account is in my possession and I did pay for it. I don't think it should be taken back from me?

    This post was based upon the assumption that buyaccs had not transferred possession to any buyer. My thought was that he had kept the account to himself and scammed everyone. If Sythe mods agree, I think it may be smart to just confirm that the account he sold you is indeed the account I am the OO of. If so, I agree that you have then purchased the account and it should remain in your possession. I appreciate your making this post to add this information

    Thank you for the report;

    @Dunworry is correct - the initial post by @Dunworry was done under the assumption that @Buyaccs69 had not transferred possession to any buyer (aka 'fully sold' the account), but rather instead kept the account to himself and scammed. This led to a thought initially to have @Dunworry recover this account to provide to the victim, which turned out to be more than one.

    Since there was a legitimate full transaction between you two (@RPGStash.com / @Buyaccs69) this would negate the thought process of having @Dunworry recover the account to provide to the victim (which at the time was believed to be only one individual). I wish there was a way to assist all involved in this, however there's just not an option to do so. I'd certainly recommend for all parties involved in the future to utilize a MM to avoid any scenario of providing funds first and not receiving what has been paid for.

    I will go ahead and close this thread out & @Dunworry you do not need to touch/do anything to the account as a legitimate transaction took place.
