I think that although sythe is a big forum it won't attract many people away from sythe which i think the game will need for a major breakthrough, 1. A php mailer i can get hold of this and around 10,000,000 emails this is how my sisters boyfriend promotes his Dj Gigs and festivals , it may not help alot but its a start i'd also be preffered to stick up flyers round my area or take them to school lots of my friends play runescape and i could get them to join a new game.
I could also put adivitsements for free on myspace , facebook , bebo , and some websites my family has created.

This is just a start hope for many more ideas

Im sure we would gain alot of players if just advertised on sythe,
but the more players the better. So I guess it wouldn't hurt to advertise
around the web.

 

Just post like shit everywhere you can when the game comes out.. lol

I quite like the idea of spamming RuneScape advertising the new MMORPG.
But its up to sythe whether or not he allows us to do so. He might not want bad reputation for the game.

 

Haha I can imagine a bunch of us there spamming, possibly getting banned. I hope to see several mods trying to ban us

and theres a program (4got wat its called )
That sends e-mail to all your contacts and then all thier contects then all there contacts, ect
I sent 1mil e-mails in under 30 mins...same message...
and to make the game bigger google...
you can pay google to get ur search in the first page always and in sponsered links, dunno how much it is tho.
You could get its trafic up more if you submited it to most serach engines

 

like how the guy above me has the firefox link in a sig format something of that sort should be used but have some concept art in it weapons,mages,items name and such. You can put in on myspace/face/ book all those public places I would make tons of rs free accounts and spam it no problem lol.

 

I personally think it is to early to think about advertising.
