    Advice about laptops

    I am stuck deciding between

    An Acer Ferrari One

    With the following specs
    CPU and Memory:

    •AMD Athlon 64 dual core L310.


    •3GB DDR2 RAM memory.


    •250GB hard drive.

    Display features:

    •11.6in display.


    •Resolution 1366 x 768 pixels.

    Graphics:

    •Dedicated ATI Radeon HD HD3200 graphics card with 256MB memory.

    Interfaces and connectivity:

    •3 USB ports.


    •B/g/n wireless/WiFi enabled.

    Multi-media features:

    •0.3MP built-in webcam.


    •Dolby sound system.

    Windows 7 Home Preminum

    Or a Samsung R530 with the following specs

    Numeric keypad.

    CPU and Memory:

    •Intel Pentium dual core T4400.


    •2.2GHz processor speed.


    •3GB DDR3 RAM memory.


    •320GB SATA hard drive.

    Display features:

    •15.6in display.


    •Resolution 1366 x 768 pixels.

    •Dual layer.

    Graphics:

    •Dedicated Intel GMA with X4500M graphics card.

    Interfaces and connectivity:

    •Multi-Media Card (MMC) compatible.

    •1 HDMI port.

    •0.3MP built-in webcam.


    •Built-in mic.


    •SRS surround sound sound system.

    Windows 7 Home Preminum

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    You can't do much with the second Laptop, the first Laptop can probably run some games since it has a Dedicated Graphics Card. Go with the first one, you're going to be sorry with an Intel Integrated Graphics card which sucks. But it depends on what you'll be doing, you should let us know what you're doing with the Laptop first of all.

    Thanks for moving, I wouldn't buy a laptop with an amd processor just because I have something against them and they always fail me if you try using them in the long run.

    There's nothing wrong with AMD processors in my opinion. Intel ones fail just as often. OP, go with the first laptop. If possible post your budget and we could probably find you a laptop that is better than both of the ones that you are debating between.

    Can't fail with a Sony, thats what I used for college.
