Thor requesting a pardon for not repaying scam-victim

    • Your profile link: Thor

    • All of your Sythe Accounts: Lynx (although i haven't used it since 2013)

    • Report/post/reason that got you banned: Thor??
    • Anything you weren't banned for but want to confess to now: I never did anything against the rules of the site, and had won and lost alot of money dicing, always paying up.

    • Proof of contacting victims for repayment or repayment of victims: The victim is currently banned, and has left no apparent contact information
    • Detailed description of the events that took place and why you think we should forgive you:
In 2016 my sythe account was hacked, and the account was used to scam Top Elite for 40m osrs gold (see report thread). Originally i was unbanned on the grounds that i had been hacked, but it was later changed. Shin tried to find a middle ground between me and Top elite, and acted as a mediator to find a solution. If i paid back what he had lost (40m 07 gold) it would be fine, but at the time i was not able to get the funds. He proposed that i could give him ALL my miniranks (with a value of more than 40m), but seeing i felt like he was using me, i refused the offer. I tried to sell, trade or dice the miniranks so i could scrap together the 40m, but to no avail. I lost all the miniranks in the end, and being left with nothing and no way to repay him, i gave up and left Sythe. Shin did as he should have, and banned me.

I agree i was at fault in this case. It was, and is mine, and only my responsibility to account for the security of the account. Now i'm working and finally able to repay the debt. I regret how the situation was handled, and if i'm given a second chance i would be thrilled to be a part of the community again.
    • Did you fully read and follow this sticky thread in the pardon section?: Yes i did.
If there's any questions or so, feel free to ask me. If anyone have any suggestions to pay my debt, i'm willing to listen. Thank you to anyone bothering with reading this.

    Regards,
    Thor

    Hello @Thor,

    Users:
    Thor
    Lynx

    Reports:
    Thor??
    Thor (40M 07 debt @ Sept. 2016)

Since your victim was banned for scamming, he is ineligible for repayment. Your repayment will go towards the community repayment fund. Your total debt owed is $42.

You can send $42 (Blockchain rate) in BTC to the community repayment wallet here:
    Code:
     18Hus8wV9S14eiopWoC9vuV4gYc4DnZQdG
You will need to send the exact amount and include your transaction ID

Original thread: Thor requesting a pardon for not repaying scam-victim

Hey @Pendulum , thanks for getting back to me. I sent you a message on discord, but i understand if you're not active there. So the question was if my BTC-seller could send it directly to the community repayment fund, as long as i got the transaction id and such, and then posted it here.

    Thanks again

Thanks for the repayment, your debts have been cleared and this can now move forward to voting. Results can take up to two weeks and when a verdict is reached, your name will be shown in this thread.

Until then, please remain patient, thank you.
