In my opinion, It's coming back without a doubt.

It's coming back, and i think it'll have a far more positive effect on the game, which balance out the negative. Atleast the economics of the gp will start to go back to normal.

 

They make a shit load of money... look at everyone on the members world and time it buy 5 or even 20 bucks for the people who don't pay membership using a credit card.

EDIT:But jagex did fuck there own game and they know it.

 

I don't think that it will "die off" but I do agree that they will stop caring for it as much, or at least think so.

Sure, they have Mechscape coming up, but I don't think that they'd stray away from RS because of a new game of theirs. Think about it, what if they had both games just as successful?

If they don't bring it back they'll have so many disappointed/angry members it'd be suicide. Of course it's coming back.

 

The Mechscape project was dumped a long time ago its stellardawn there working on.

 

I agree, if for some psycho reason they don't then I could assure them they would lose more members, or have more bots than ever.

 

I agree, They WILL bring it back. That forum post says it all.

I'm glad they're bringing it back, although i have a level 132 maxed mostly i don't PVP. Never gotten a handle on pvping. But i would love to have free trade back to finally be able to get 99 prayer and other skills.

It's not a mod post so QFC doesn't really do a whole lot for you.

i agree with what is said above. it all comes down to the fact that jagex is a buisness, and what do buisness's want? money. how do they get money? customers. inorder for customers to be satisfied, ultimatly, they need to get what they want. they majority of runescape wants as few restrictions as they can get... and honestly, its the same irl. people do not like being restricted. get ready for the wilderness and free trade.

 

yeah, we cant expect much more from jagex. they try to please their customer base, but they *are* a business, so there needs to be compromise.

 

Oh. So it's not guaranteed or anything at all about them leaving runescape or anything.

 

You don't know how amazing it would be, if Andrew Gower had planned all of this out. Everything from RSC, to RS2, to taking away trade, then to make a poll, then get everyone hyped up about it, then not bring it back. Just so he could troll millions of people.

I can't even imagine how much win that'd be.

 

They should have never put themselves in this situation in the first place.

 

ALL I CAN SAY IS W00T im happy for wildy comming back and that quote seems to be legit..i guess with no qfc cant really believe it that much
