Poster of the week. POTW. Gets a little tag thing that says POTW. The way you pick the POTW is by how much they have helped and posted.

Good idea?

 

I don't know if it is a great idea. But I don't think it's a bad Idea and if it was easy enough to do I support it.

 

Eh so a minirank that basically shows the post whore of the week. It could be done. I wouldn't have a problem with something like that. Support.

 

No support, a week is too often to change it and there is already the MOTM subcategories that cater to the individual sections that a person may excel in.

 

Well then you can change it to POTM (poster of the month). Thats only 12 people per year. Not to many.

 

ya because i know there are posters of the day on near reality which is a gaming forums.

 

I would support poster of the month instead. A week is not long enough.

 

Well I hope they like it. Seems like most of us like it.

 

I could see this just encouraging spam...

 

This, people will post pointless things that will borderline a infraction.

 

Seems like it would only encourage spammers try-harding for more miniranks. We already have a pretty good amount of miniranks and competetions going and as Jack said there are already section specific "members of the month".

No support from me as others have stated it would encourage too much spam and it would either be a mod or Laptop who wins every month as they post the most. I know its the mods jobs to post so they should have the most posts in a month. No support.
