Add Runescape Account hacking to the Rules

Not in rules, led to ban of this guy: http://sythe.org/showthread.php?p=6995273#post6995273.

Wasn't in rules, he read them, he thought he was fine, etc, etc. BANNED. Add to rules pls.

 

He should have known better. No excuse.

If you're not allowed to 'phish' accounts how could hacking ever be allowed?

 

Still, it wasn't in the rules. Not just for his sake, but it's not even in the rules.

 

It's not phishing/cracking... This is just more bs for banning people for actions they did outside of sythe.. Bans on this website are supposed to be for infractions of SYTHE'S RULES. Not because some mod doesn't like account hacking.

 

It is implied however. The terminology 'hack' is wrong in this case anyhow.
It is technically impossible to 'hack' runescape accounts.
The only thing you can do is phish them which is bannable.

Cool. So you mean to tell me this 'hacker' was able to gain access the Runescape servers?
Of course not, therefore he didn't 'hack' anything.





Anyways, my point being is that anyone with basic logic can come to the conclusion what is implied in the rules. You don't need 100+ pages of specific detailed offences covering every single possible case.

We can't list every single rule in the whole world, it'd be a mile long.

 

I mean, putting in rules like "You can not hack Runescape accounts" on a Runescape cheating forum. Seems as though it would come to thought it WOULD be all for the forum, but it's more of a market than cheating.

But putting in obvious things like "You can't scam in the market." It's just a simple rule anyways, they could just add it with one line or whatever, just as long as it's there because even I was in question when I joined.

 

I'd support that.

 

Personaly I think the rules are starting to go a bit overbored, but sythe creats the rules for this community for the best of the members and any one who wishes to browse the forum, although some rules are put in a different way I think that this is pretty straight forward and it is against the law...
