    The Awesome Story (Part 1)

Warning, this story contains explicit material not suitable for children.

Oh, I am the hover fairy, yes the hover fairy is what I am. I stop the hoverers from hovering over ham. When the people call me forth, I do my duty well, cause I am the hover fairy, fairy of hovering is what I am.

    THE AWESOME STORY (Part 1)

For the past few years now, I was involved in a project. I was recruited through a video game, and forced to sign several Non-Disclosure Agreements. I found myself constantly being tangled in paperwork, pestered by nagging men in suits about what I did all day, and pushed into black vans whenever I turned the corner on a street.

After about a week of this, I began doing some really interesting work. The people I worked with had all gone through the same experiences I had, and most of them were really cool people. While we didn't get to discuss the work we were doing, as merely mentioning it to a co-worker would result in jail time, or worse.

We merely pretended it didn't exist, and discussed video games, music, women, etc in our spare time. Such conversation was encouraged by the blank faces, people we never saw, but were always there to make sure we weren't breaking their rules. They felt that it kept the project normal, and inconspicuous, but we knew otherwise.

The project we were working on, we knew was important. Only a few of us had degrees, the rest of us were just slackies who were called into service against our will. Each of us had a story, but it was usually just your normal, everyday nerdlife. Why we were called into service, we never figured out, but one thing we did know is that the project was important.

After a few months of working on the project, we all started talking in code. We felt it was necessary to get the information on the project out to the public. We wanted people to know about the work we were doing, and what could happen in the future. So we started our own nerdkant, which was pretty cool in itself.

We would each continue our normal discussions, but we'd slowly pick up on each others intentions, and began working together using innuendos and out of place meme's to progress our discussions. Pretty quickly, we began to communicate the work we were doing to other areas of the department, and had a pretty good idea of where the project was going. When we realized what we had stumbled upon, we could barely believe it. So much so, that we all fell gravely silent during one conversation, and were called in by them for 'evaluations'.

While none of us talked, and we managed to covered it up by saying that we were just shocked by some new life thing, we managed to squeeze by. However, we were no longer permitted to converse, and management seemed to be even more so apparent in the shadows.

Time came and went, and things seemed to cool down, but some of us were getting a little on the edge about how quickly the project was progressing. By removing our discussion time, productivity had increased quite a bit.

One day, while going to lunch, I saw a co-worker in the hall. He looked at me and said; "It is almost time for awesome.", which meant "The project is almost finished."

We were given a chance to talk with our co-workers a few days later, and we all concluded that we were about to finish work on the job. When we finished our chat, we had come to a decision of what must be done. We had decided that awesome must not go public.

It's gonna become pretty interesting, but I doubt I'll be able to carry it to a full fledge book, it was really a spur of the moment idea.

Continue, but you've revealed too much for it to be a full long novel, though.

    The Awesome Story (Part 1)

I was only planning on 3 parts when I started writing, the beginning, the middle, and the end. The middle will be a bit longer, and the end will be about the same length.

    The Awesome Story (Part 1)

    I actually read this.

I'd give it a 7/10. I think you revealed just enough to leave yourself a leeway and adjust according to the length you want the story to be. I think some of the words there can be replaced by more powerful ones, but it was still a good read.

    TL;DR version: MOAR PLZ

BTW, why would you post this in the Spam Forum, of all places?

Cause it's not a professional work, and I haven't written anything in a long time, so its just some practice.
