Leaking

How come if a Sythe moderator leaks anything from their staff lounge, they're banned or demoted, but if a member who's a player moderator on Runescape leaks from the Runescape moderator section, they're praised?

 

Are you not aware this is a runescape cheating community?

 

Well, it's against forum rules to leak their own staff lounge, but they really can't control the leaking of other forums. It's not their responsibility.

 

I am well aware. I'm just wondering why they encourage leaking that, but when it comes to leaks on their own site they ban.

 

It's way different, runescape is a game.

 

Sythe is a forum for that game.

 

I don't see any mods encouraging pmods to leak anything. Also, Sythe.org is a website that promotes breaking RuneScape rules (botting, RWTing, etc.)

 

Because as a cheating community we are against runescape yet we are not against sythe. Almost every member on this site could be banned off runescape.

 

There's much more serious repercussions for us if the Staff Lounge is leaked - confidential information directly concerning us is released and we personally get in a fair bit of strife. All staff must agree to the rules in the staff lounge when promoted as well - which does include the point that if they are found leaking then they will be demoted and potentially banned.

What trouble do we get in if someone leaks some information from the Runescape forums?

 

Leaking stuff on this forums is bad. But leaking runescape area and stuff it helps us all cheat better if you know what I'm saying.

 

Not necessarily moderators, but other players also.

Most leaks from the RS forums are fake anyway, I think there should be a rule set up against leaks of any kind.

 

Y leaking from the rs forums doesn't hurt anyone we care about.

 

Everyone wants private information. Thats just how it is. The staff lounge contains private information. The Runescape Pmod forums contain private information. Each site wants to make sure its own private information is secure while knowing private information of others. Thats why Sythe does not allow posting of its own information, but does allow it of others.

 

If Runescape started releasing Sythe information from their staff section (even though it doesn't relate at all), I'm pretty sure many staff members here would be extremely pissed off and embarrassed that their private discussions were shared.

Like previously stated, most leaks are fake anyway. Why not just not allow them from any site?

 

I doubt that the staff would care if you leaked stuff from basically any site other than Sythe.

We're not a sythe cheating community. But a Runescape.

 

Because we care about Sythe.org, but not Runescape.
