[DENIED] Add a hub to show recently active threads

I couldn't find this suggestion when I searched around for it and I couldn't find a way to do this on the site so I hope I did my due dilligence correctly.

What I mean by this is essentially adding another filter where we already have "Community" "Runescape" etc... This filter could say "Home" (Although I really like the sythe landing page as it is) or "Threads" or "Hot" or something of that nature. It doesn't even have to go there, honestly anywhere the admins/sythe deem to be appropriate would be great.

Clicking on this would, instead of showing a list of the different forums/subforums, would show a list of all the most recently active threads from all forums (excluding dispute forum and other official use forums). So you may see market threads, general discussion threads, spam forum threads, etc...

I love browsing Sythe and checking out all the different threads but there are a ton of forums and subforums, and it takes a lot of time to browse through all of them. Furthermore, there are forums that I'm not interested in as a whole, but often have interesting threads in them.

Essentially this would be a place to see the most popular content on Sythe all at once. The only way I see this working is by displaying threads that have most recently been replied to by someone other than the user who created it, and threads that were just created. Due to the nature of bumping, all anyone would see are the same service threads over and over again if it is done differently.

Not to mention this is much much quicker than individually following different forums/threads

Not 100% sure if this is what you're looking for, but you can look at threads that have been posted on recently here clicking recent posts.

 

Yep that's what I meant! I somehow just couldn't see this on mobile even though its big and fat on desktop. I appreciate it.

That being said, while that is really useful, I was thinking of it as a more refined section to drive community. A user could click that to see what people are talking about on sythe while ignoring the spam. (many people struggle with the search bar haha) Using that search there are a few "Vouches" threads and many of the threads displayed are only being displayed because the thread owner just bumped it.

So essentially the search you just showed me minus spammy threads like vouch threads and thread owners recent posts. As well as a more accessible way to view it on the home page.

 

I think something that showed all the recent posts in selected forums, (Say you were interested in Runescape botting discussion, Dota 2, CSGO and CryptoKitties)

You'd only see recent posts in those sections would be interesting to see.

 

Support, I’d probably look at this hub/section more than I should but hey, I like this site.
