Actually decent PC mouse?...

Just wondering what mouse everyone here uses (if you've used it for 6 months to a year+).

I've used any number of "cheap" $20 Target mice and what eventually happens is the left click will give out, meaning it'll start to double click with one press, or i'll have to apply excessive force just to get a single click, and before someone asks, no, I don't slam my mouse down or something when raging lul

Anyways, back in September I decided to get a new mouse after my piece of shit Cooler Master mouse died (wouldn't download drivers, even tried it on other PC's, mouse is just fucked) within probably a single month. After suggestions from friends I picked up a new Razer mouse and tbh I concluded this is just as cheap as any other cheap ass mouse; the left click is already double-clicking with a single press.

tl;dr-

Can anyone suggest me a mouse that they've used for an extensive period of time, I really don't care what it is as long as it isn't some overpriced piece of shit 'hype-brand' like Razer, CM or whatever else is out there.

I mean I hate buying hype brands, but my deathadder has been with me for 3 years 0 complaints at all, so do what you will.

 

+1 to the deathadder I had it for 2 years until i gave it to my brother, and it is still going strong for him.

 

deathadder is good if you wanna spend the money.

P.S. I recently bought a mouse off Amazon. It's the HAVIT 2.4G Portable Wireless Mouse. It's on sale for $20 and has one of the best review records I've seen for such a great budget mouse and I love wireless.

Ive been using a Logitech MX518 for the past 5 years and its as good as the day I bought it.

 

I use Razer Abyssus 1800 dpi (bulk) version. There is astandard version with adjustable dpi that runs ~$50. The set 1800 dpi runs about $20 and is fantastic. I have two actually, have been using for about two years.

The problem with this one is finding it. I dont think its produced anymore so you may have to import from overseas.

 

I used to have a Logitech mouse but after 2 years it broke, now I'm currently stuck with a cheap one and it sucks for gaming.

 

At first i had a circa 2013 razer deathadder. It was fine and after around a year it started peeling and my room mate now uses it. However, I have tried roccat/deathadder chromas and i like my mouse the most. I have a steelseries rival 300 and the quality is very good so far. its bigger than the deathadder but I have medium/large ish hands and it fits my hand nicely, now i realise the deathadder being smaller. The side grips haven't worn at all, that is no longer a problem for steelseries. I dropped it a few times and it works perfectly, has been fine for FPS games etc. I was going to get a zowie but i was worried about build quality and i love the steelseries, it has never failed me although I would like to see a braided cable perhaps.

Whilst steelseries is a big brand i feel like it gets overlooked a bit as many "know it alls" say the best are niche brands however after spending £50 on this mouse i feel like it really doesnt matter what mouse you have as long as it's half decent. So i'd look at the rival 100, or 300 which is what i have

PS. i have had it around 4 months now and it has held up better than my razer, or my mates chroma. I use the QCK pad as well. IK some of the very high ranking CSGO players are sponsored by steelseries so it is used by the best.

A negative would be the RGB isn't as bright or colourful as the razer rgb however. its also kind of pricy.

 

I've been using my Zowie Fk1 for almost two years and I've been really satiafied with it. As far as I know all the Zowie mice have a top quality sensor and there are many different shapes and sizes so you'll for sure find one that fits your hand. The Fk1 has two side buttons on each side (since its for both left and right handed people) and a button on the bottom for adjusting the DPI. There are no drivers for these mice which I see as a positive thing because if you want to use the mouse on some other computer, you just plug it in and you've got the same settings without installing any programs.
