Acl

Has anyone torn there acl or know anyone who has?

I just tore my acl recently in football. I can barely bend it and i need full leg extension before i can go into surgery. My trainer and i are working on it everyday. He says i will be faster and stronger than i was before i tore my acl.

Is this true? He says my 4.9 40 will go to 4.7
I just want more info. about this if anyone knows about this stuff first hand.

Thats mostly what i learned from my doctor, but i wanna know if someone who has actually had or known someone who has had the surgery knows what its like and everything.

 

I know a person who tore their acl and had to go through surgery. She was into track and afterwards couldnt run curves at all. I think forward motion is alright but moving side to side is pretty hard.

 

My tackled a dude in football and tore his acl he was like my best friend and when he got better it seemed like he was better.

Sometimes it might make you better but sometimes it might now

 

I have never broken anything in my life and I play Ice Hockey. =D
