Accounts are hard to sell?

Hey guys, i recently cam back to runescape and have realized that accounts are bloody hard to sell on sythe!
I have accounts up which have had no offers for AGES. And the prices I put on them are beyond reasonable. I have a 97 str zerker with an auto win of 15mil
and someone eles in a thread is sellign an account with 40 atk 70 str for 10 mil...

 

They are hard to sell because people are worried about them getting taken from them, also people are worried about putting wealth on to the accounts for it to be taken. The more trusted you are the easier they will sell.

 

Yes they are because a lot of people scam by selling their accounts, they sell it and recover it.

The accounts are cheap because know one will buy them, they know that 90% of them get recovered.

 

It's just annoying though, I mean im not hating on low post count, but seeing the account selling thread spammed with 20 posts and no pics, they get MORE OFFERS then I do.

 

its hard to sell account because, yes... basically everyone is going to recover their account at one point or another... I honestly have NEVER heard of a good, successful trade that the buy has never had the account be recovered... maybe few months, even years, but at some point it does.... But I honestly think its bullshit the value of accounts. Maxed 99 skill account, sells for maybe $500 its ridiculous... Best of luck selling any account...

 

Your pics are too small for me to even see. Take a few days and get/bot 99 str to make the account more appealing. And take the good trade bad trade thing out of your sig, makes people look new/scammerish

 

There's an account that I've been trying to sell for a decent price since November and I wouldn't call myself a newcomer but still people are very cautious. Yes, it takes time.

 

You need to sell the accounts local Eric. To someone who lives in your city. You can supply them real life info which will put a prospective purchaser at ease a fair bit.

It'll be real difficult to sell them to other countries due to the reasons mentioned above.

I had to sell my 99 Miner for 25m because I don't like going first.

Guess I have to pay the price for not going first, saw one 2 weeks ago go for 55m.

it's because a lot of ppl are recover there accounts back

 

or because your account is not good enough.

 

It's simply because most accounts get recovered after a couple of months owning it, which is why I avoid buying accounts now. I bought a Scythe/Bunny ears account awhile back and it got recovered after 7 months of owning it.

 

Why would you not go first? It's an account you could just recover it. Why not just use a free mm/omm?

 

99% of all acc that are being sold gets recovered. And since it's cheap to bot there is no real resond to buy accs anymore.

 

Isn't really worth it to sell acc's unless you have a rep on sythe. If you do have a rep, acc's move extremely fast and for good prices.

This^ really :/ I don't sell accs but if i would i would NEVER recover them.. but other people most often recover the accs they've sold after 5 months..

Bought a level 124 for 130m, Recovered :/
Bought a level 118 for 50m, Recovered
Bought a level 112 for 50m, Recovered
Bought a level 94 for 5m, Recovered

I still have a lot of accs that I've bought but most of them are under level 90. and these haven't been recovered yet, but All level 100's + have been recovered.. sad .

I get why people don't buy accounts... if you spend alot of cash on buying it will just get recovered.. btw, bought the level 124 from a kinda trusted user.. he got banned for recovering all of the accs he sold.

 

There is trust issues when it comes to the account market here on sythe.

Only way to buy an account is from a very trusted member :/

they are always sad ppl that scam you... sad :/

 

It mainly depends on the stats/items on the account tbh
