The end of dicing? How will it affect gold prices

Does anyone think the prices of gold will move much due to this? Money looks like it's getting more and more difficult to make. I think it has the potential to shift prices even more.

 

True the prices will probably rise, but there's still probably hundreds of bills of dicing gold left

 

Hmm those gold stocks are now finite though and once sold have no way of replenishing themselves. The main source of gold from now on looks like it will be staking. There is a potential for, in the next few weeks, a flood of dicing gold but eventually stocks will thin out and the price will rise. Might hold on to my gold for a while

 

I'm really happy about this update. I thought it was coming for awhile and I'm glad it actually did. Much of my gold selling competition got their gold from dicing. With that cut away, hopefully prices can rise even more.

However, I expect a short term dip while hosts sell their hordes.

Hmm..Jagex is taking a way more ethical stand lately.

I would say about 95% of the former dicers RWT. Then I would say 10-20% of the average players sells gold. This means less supply being sold to bulk gold buyers. You know where I am going...

 

I'm actually happy about this update, people should start buying all they can and sell them once it rises up.

 

Yea, its gonna crash for a bit . Then it will skyrocket, runescape can actually be about going out and earning your money now not gambling.

 

prices of gold need to rise, theyre at an all time low and with all of these methods of making large sums of money quick are being taken out of the game, its bound to go up.

 

I think value will rise.

 

gold will rise, rares will probably decrease.
