    Hi guys. My account just got locked a few hours ago. Tried recovering twice but it didn't work. This is what I got both times.

    We require details on the creation of your account. This includes:
    Date the account was created. The more accurate the better.
    Country and State/Country/Region it was created from.
    Internet Service Provider used when the account was created (BT,Virgin,Comcast SBC etc.).

    I have the original password, details of atleast 1 membership subscription, recoveries. I'm just not too sure when the account was created. Any suggestions?

    Well you need some sort of location to start. Can you get a veteran/classic cape on the account? That can help with creation date. ISP you should have that unless you recently changed them. Use the first password you it had if you know it and earlier passwords newer ones aren't so helpful. Why did it get locked?

    The biggest factor in the "Creation Details" section is that you are recovering the account from the original computer which created it. If you aren't physically there, then you're mostly sunk. You can try and use proxies to get near to the house of the original owner, but those are hit-and-miss. Why don't you just contact the original owner to recover it?

    If you tried twice and it didn't work, wait about 6-8 hours for a new jagex employee to review your case, and it might just work! :)

    Not putting in a lock appeal for a few days will increase your chances.

    Find it your old ISP, I'm sure you know it.
    Just guess the creation year and leave the month blank.

    Are you still on the same IP (or at least near it) that you created the account on? Original IP plays a huge part. And for the creation month/year, take your best guess at the year, and either guess again for the month, or just leave it blank. And also, let the lock appeal sit for a few days before trying again, it usually increases your chances of appealing. Good luck appealing.

    Okay i'll try appealing again in a few day's time. I don't have the original IP since my friend gave it to me like 5 years ago as a new account and he has since then moved away. However, i've been playing on this account with the same IP for about 2-3 years, would it help if i provided it?

    IP doesn't matter, they'll see it with your appeal.

    Fill in your old ISP (or the current one if u always used that)

    I got 3 accounts locked (due to upgrading).. and I know the old ISP & current ISP, date of creation, country, email address and they still deny my appeal. Jagex are such a bunch of ball bags. They make life difficult for their players.

    Haha, oh wow.

    The system is completely automated and very bugged.
    I would suggest simply putting Jan 2001 as creation date, sometimes works even if it's way off. Also leave the extra info box blank, that speeds up the process.

    Their system is shit as fuck. Anyone got an email for Jagex customer support so I can tell them what a POS it really is and how irritating it is for genuine owners of the accounts to be locked out like this. Arseholes!

    You should say ,

    Who is your provider when you created the account, who is it now.
    Think off every password you have ever had.
    at the comment spot:
    you should say what you did on the first day's when you played..
    broadband or small band .. Like times you recovered your account..
    give them enough info so they know you are the rightful owner
