how come i cant join irc?

im trying to use irc on swiftkit but whenever i try to connect i get this
"Error connecting to irc.swiftirc.net: No reply from server. The server may be currently experiencing difficulties. This error could also indicate a problem with your Internet connection. If your connection is otherwise working, security software (firewalls, anti-virus etc.) may be blocking access to IRC."

 

Google search the error, you will probably be able to find the solution yourself very easily
