Selling staking glitches?

You can get banned on this site for offsite scamming can someone please explain to me how using a glitch to win a stake isnt considered scamming. So im wondering why it's even allowed to sell staking glitches

 

Offsite scamming is completely different from staking glitches. Most likely offsite scammers have come here to scam, staking glitches is different. Its not scamming anyone here.

 

So its okay to scam long as its not someone on this site?

 

off site scamming is the same thing as scamming on runescape. Xlogging you are scamming the person out of the money in my oppinion. But wether its allowed or not is not up to me.

 

No, it's not.
You get banned for that and it's known as "Off-site Scamming".

 

So why allow the sale of staking glitches where u basically scam other players on runescape?

 

I would consider it scamming, weak method of making money..

 

This is a complicated matter IMO. I believe selling staking methods such as glitches should be continued, BUT what if you happen to be staking someone who is also a member on Sythe and you just xlog (or whatever people use to glitch staking nowadays) on them and later he/she finds out it was you...Wouldnt that be the same thing as scamming in a more distorted definition? Of course this would happen only in extraordinary circumstances but its still possible.

 

I would support the removal of staking glitches. Scamming is scamming, whether it's in game, off-site, or anywhere else. How would you feel if you were staking 1B against someone, and you were winning, and they used a glitch and beat you, how would you feel. The feeling's the same, the same values are used, so I don't get how it isn't considered scamming. I would like someone to name one reason how this wouldn't be scamming.

 

I never understood why the sale of staking glitches was allowed. Someone on the other end is obviously going to lose unfairly (scammed) and these staking glitches are usually used in high stake duels (1B) making it a substantial loss.
