I'm currently working on a new site which only has runescape 2007 guides etc, I think people will find that easier then having to change the search engine results every time etc.

What do you guys think about that?

Changing the search engine results takes 10 seconds, probably finding the result on your website will take approximately the same time too. So what's the point? :p
For example, here's the link to '07 guides or earlier: http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=ru...=lnt&tbs=cdr:1,cd_min:,cd_max:31/08/2007&tbm=
You can always adjust the contents to search for and will find an variety of options. Doubt your site will be used a lot, I never used stuff like tip.it unless it was for calculating my experience or whatever.

Use the wayback machine to access old sites like tip.it to access 07 guides.

Some people don't know how to change the search results, and its always easier to "google it" :p

"Don't know how to change the search results"
Can you re-phrase that? Do you mean the date or what?

I mean in terms of using the advanced search function in google or knowing how to narrow down a search appropriately. E.g. the date for the results.
