    Accident at work...?

I work at a Hotel, as a chef.
The Red Lion hotel to be exact.
The hotel's kitchen itself is not the best of shape.

This little story has to do with the Walk-in fridge (walk-in)

It leaks water under the AC fans.

Yesterday, Larry, a co-worker. Was cutting fruit, and walked into the walk-in to get the fruit out, and slipped and nearly ate shit, because of the water.
We had a banquet going out that day, we had to make a nice hefty fancy meat platter(tray.)

We finish it, takes an hour to get it to look nice.

I walk into the walk-in.. slip on the water... the tray hits the shelfs in front of me, I slip backwards.. the tray hits the floor and shatters the glass and the food goes everywhere.
I hit my back on the wall and now it feels like I tweaked my back.

As soon as the tray hit the floor, you can hear Larry "FUCK!!!!!!!!!! AAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH"

It has got to be the funniest thing ever... (If you saw it happen)

And now my boss is asking if I need to see a doctor about my back lol...

Idfc for my back, fix the fuckin kitchen pls.

    That is my story

    tl;dr = foku

Nah, I had 24hours AFTER the accident to go see a doctor, I had no pain until 2hours ago :p
    It's just a little sore
    SO IM GOOD
I'll drink some noff and be fine.

Wood floor + "floor finish+polish" = epic wins.
Put on some sock and slide down that shit. I remember doing that when I was 13 at my friends house.. oh the memories.

I think you can sue the hotel, not sure though. Just go see a doctor and get some pain pills.

The best part is that your boss wasn't mad from what you told us. Sounds really funny besides getting hurt... haha

    Accident at work...?

most likely the only reason he asked you if you were alright is because he's scared of a lawsuit, which you'd win, btw.

    Accident at work...?

    Free money I suppose.

If you are eligible to sue, you might aswel do it. People sue for anything these days, I think a woman tried to sue mcdonalds for making her fat? =|

    Accident at work...?

Because this is what the world is coming to.
People no longer want to work for their money they'd rather take it from others.

    Accident at work...?

Very true. One of my friends dad claims a variety of benefits that he does not deserve, and claims child benefits for his son who is over the maximum age to be eligible for that benefit.

    Accident at work...?

Haha. I don't want to sue. I don't like handouts or free money. My family knows that, I like to work for my money. Since it means the money is truly mine. It makes me appreciate everything I own.

    :)
