Craigslist Car Buyer Attacked with Claw Hammer

Right in my hometown.. this shit is crazy.

"He said that when he showed up at an apartment complex and met the seller, the seller attacked him, hitting him in the head with a claw hammer.

Then I grabbed his hammer and I got a hold of his hammer, and the other guy, who was hiding behind the building came out and strike my mother three times on the back of the head," said the man, identified only as Richard.

Richard's mother, who had gone with him, was also hit and knocked unconscious."

Seems to be, yeah. Not sure if the robber(s) got the money or not. Absolutely ridiculous in my opinion though.

I've only used craigslist once, to buy a PSP 3000 + WiFi Max. Lol, when I rang the doorbell some nerdy kid answered the door. D:

 

How do you get hit in the head with a claw hammer and are still conscious enough to take the hammer away from the attacker?

But anyways this is a pretty ridiculous story, I'm bringing a weapon with me from now on whenever I buy from craigslist lol.

people are just so sad these days.... really makes you think twice about the world, this is just as bad as scamming on sythe. You should really not use craigslist in my opinion, at least for large purchases like a car.

Don't blame craigslist for psychopaths using it.. I use craigslist all the time to buy DVDs and CDs to resell.
