Staking

Why is everyone so excited about staking, that's like 1/2 of the topics in the RuneScape sections right now.
I see it as a pointless waste of time, if you lose you're going to be depressed anyways.

 

Because it's like gambling, you can make 500M in 3 minutes but you can loose it just as fast. Theres nothing more profitable if your good at it.

 

how do you think some people got rich and loaded

ex. Win all day used to stake a hell of a lot and now he has like a 5bil bank from it

 

It's the thrill of it man. I loved staking even though I usually lost :s

 

its not a waste of time at all if you have the cash you can win billions in a matter of hours, check youtube for old staking vids, phat staking.

 

I have a friend, Mauling Mj, who has made billions from staking. For the amount of effort used to gain the wealth, nothing can beat it. Not everyone is good at staking (like me), but if you are, you would be very very excited.

 

staking is nice when u stake alot not just like 20k :S

 

im maxed with 1 pray, i rule at staking im only playin on that account if they actually update

Stake 250m You have a chance to DOUBLE YOUR money and lose it all. The moment where it comes down to the wire 10 hp left each and in sync hits it's intense

 

You can make so much money doing it. That's why ;P

 

staking was sooo much fun, it gave me soo much adrenalin, if you stake ur addicted to it and i cant wait to get that intense feeling back XD

Yeah, staking was/will be amazing, but I think alot of players will be suprised when it's completely different then it was before.
i.e - back then veracs accounts with high def and attack and lowish prayer were ownage.

now, with all of the weapons updates and prayer updates since then it'll be completely different.

 

Mauling mj, i still remember this name from when my main was a pure. used to always see him pking.

 

Yeah i was so into staking and wanted to make bills and bills from it but then i was like the chances of that are really little so i just bot like 5-10 accounts auto woodcut now for money

 

It's like gambling which is what post #2 said. You can make a PHat set in one stake (if your opponent's IQ is below room temperature) and make 100M+ a day, etc. Not to mention, if you're tricky enough, you can cheat by enabling some things your opponent doesn't see which happens a lot.

 

Try staking you'll know what we all mean

 

If you have a decent staking account and some cash then you can make more money in a day than you can in a month or two trying to grind it at green drags or something.
